I loved the easy reservation process and the email reminders are great. It was super easy to drive right up to our site and see our name on the reserved card. Our campsite was clean and spacious. Although there are a lot of sites we didn't feel crowded at all and had enough privacy to our liking. One surprise was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They were the cleanest bathrooms I've ever witnessed at a campsite. This was a big plus as we had two females in our group and clean bathrooms are much more appreciated by them. I complimented the host on the bathrooms when we left and he said: "We clean them twice a day!" I can't overstate how nice this was. The only downside was the overflowing dumpster, which happened to be right near our site. I know this is not the fault of the host, but the fault of the irresponsible campers who keep piling on after the dumpster is full. We packed our trash out so as not to add to the mess. I love the proximity to three lakes with great fishing. Fishing at lost creek never disappoints. And it's amazing to see the bald eagles fishing as well. We will be back every year.

Beautiful campground and pristinely maintained!Lost Creek Campground is likely one of the best in the Uintas: running creeks run along several sites and each site provides plenty of distance from others - complete with beautiful tree coverage - making for a quiet and serine camping environment. For tents, most sites include level soft dirt pads for 2-3 tents and all sites feature a picnic table and well-positioned fire pit. For hikes, Lost Lake is only a 5 minute walk away and the campground is central on the Mirror Lake Senic Byway - making for a perfect basecamp for Unita day trips! The campground fills up quick - even during weekdays - so reservations are a safe bet against first-come/first serve.

Several items:1) the trash was not picked up soon enough2) TP in restroom was empty many times3) there are three places along the loop with huge pot holes. Ive been coming to Lost Creek for years and these holes have never been repaired. At $24 per night, the US Forest Service should address these issues
