Oak Campground in Navarro County is located 55 min northeast of Waco, TX with an elevation of 462 feet. There are a total of 48 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs between 20 and 110 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $95.00. Some amenities include dump station, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

The park was very clean, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is with the shower near the boat dock. I visited this park 4 years ago and the door would not lock. I found it this way again on my latest visit. This is very dangerous for women and children. The locks need to be checked often to ensure they work. Everything else was great!

This is a beautiful peaceful park. Nice lake to kayak. It was calm when I was there. I enjoyed my campsite being near the water. The bathrooms were pretty far from the campsites but were nice. I hope to return again because I really like the pretty campsite and kayaking there. It would be nice if there was a trail there, but you can ride your bike on the road around the campsite and that is nice. I didn't see any hint of alligators, which makes me happy. They had several swimming areas and playgrounds that looked nice. Some people enjoyed fishing there. The drive was beautiful because of the bluebonnets on the way and there were a few blue bonnets in the park.

Nice large campsites for your RV. Plenty of room for my 36' RV and crew cab diesel, with room to spare. Lots of trees for shade. We always meet new nice folks there. We will be visiting again, with friends, in June. Great picnic tables with large metal covers.

Second time camping in this park. We had a great time. Caught a few fish from the bank and tried the fishing pier when the wind was high. Made some new friends

Best campground we have been to in Texas! Gate staff is wonderful and very helpful. Campground and sites are spotless.Plenty of places to fish and there is a bait shop right down the road. Always a breeze off the water so you don't get too hot. Nights are very quiet and most everyone follows the quiet time rules. This park has a great family atmosphere and the swimming/park area is large enough for hours of fun. If you forget something there is a Dollar General in Dawson that has anything you might need.

Great park. The bathroom and showers closest to my site needed attention. No trash can in the showers so people had thrown trash in one corner. A lot of trash. Personal hygiene trash. Someone also left one shower running on Saturday, and it got the whole floor wet, and was still wet Sunday. Two of the other bathrooms I checked out were much better. My campsite was clean. I forgot to bring a table cloth for the picnic table, so I had to wash that. The tent area was level and smooth. Would recommend.

Nice campsites for the most part. A couple of sites in our group were very messy with trash and garbage; there were cans in our fire pit. Two of the 4 restrooms had no toilet paper the entire weekend. Gatekeepers were very nice and friendly.

Had a enjoyable time stayed 5 nights The only problem we had was with the bathrooms totally disgusting had not been cleaned in days!! Finally got cleaned the day before we left!!

This year from March 14 thru March 20th, the restrooms by the swim area/playground were never cleaned. They did bring an extra roll of toilet paper, however no trash was emptied, and the toilets were not cleaned. The toilets were so bad that they were stopped up. I did comment to the front gate, and they said they would call the office, however nobody showed. Very disappointed. This is usually our favorite spot.

Park hosts are always wonderful. Campsites are well-maintained. We camp there regularly. Its our go-to place for a last minute getaway since its just an hour away. We always enjoy camping there.

Very pretty campground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is well-maintained and our site gave us a nice view of the setting sun over the lake. The sites - at least the ones we had this time and in the past - are generally level and spaced nicely from neighboring ones. It's nice to have this park so close to our home for short distance getaways!

Always a peaceful quiet visit. Grounds are always nicely kept. Well maintained, clean facilities, shade, beautiful lake and roomy sites. I wish for full hookups but COEs rarely offer sewer.
