It was a great spot for the view . And close to restrooms . The grass was over my knees , had to have my son come with a weedeater and make us a trail to walk to car and restroom . But other than that a great time at the lake

We like liberty hill, but our sites had brush everywhere from an unfinished tree removal & grass was very tall making it uncomfortable to walk in.

I wanted to share some observations from my recent visit to the park. While the park has a certain charm due to its age, I would recommend that visitors avoid using the bathrooms and showers, as they are quite dated.It would also be wise to bring ant spray. We experienced a significant ant problem inside and outside our camper, and they unfortunately managed to get into our food. Additionally, while some areas of the grass were mowed, other sections were quite overgrown. We ended up with a lot of bug bites, and accessing the water required walking through this tall grass.Finally, we were disappointed to find that the beach area was closed during our visit, and this was not mentioned when we made our booking.I hope this information is helpful for future visitors.

I see where at most parks Whitney Tx and Navarro have people living onsite They should have to move every 14 days Th[s is not fair for tax payers The parks are not kept maintained like they in the past the table grounds not kept,has a hole in it. Old bird house is falling down Navarro hope this helps we are all tax payers and should be Equal for eveyone

Not mowed, grass was foot & 1/2 tall. Redbugs & chiggers were bad. No toilet paper in restroom #4. I don't know about the other ones. Nobody was in gatehouse when my family came in, just a sign saying, No attendant available. No one there when we checked out, either.

Nice Park. We checked in on a Saturday so was a little crowded, but we had an inner loop away from the water and had plenty of privacy. Roads could use a little upkeep, but not an issue. Plenty of shade. Lots of birds. Good base of operations for us visiting family in Corsicana.

Careless amateur boaters beware.

Stayed just one night while passing through but will definitely be back. The camp host was so accommodating, helped us change spots and came later to see if we had gotten settled in. The campground is very spacious, quiet, we'll kept and the spots are spread out. The lake is beautiful and it has a great swimming area too. You won't be disappointed!

We have stayed at liberty hill many times always have a good time. Sites are spacious and plenty of room.

Facilities are showing their age (bathrooms) but campgrounds seemed decent. The real problem (and not the campgrounds fault) is the poor condition of the highway from Waco to Corsicana. I will not drive my rig on that highway again unless I know it's been replaced.

It was pleasant, liked the spacing between sites. Only issue we experienced was the broken glass in the swimming area that our grandchildren was finding while searching for shells.

The park was clean and very quiet compared to other parks during spring break. The campsites are spread apart and you have plenty of room. The playground and swimming area were very nice also. We will be returning to this park.

The only drawback was it was very windy the week we were there. The park is nice but could have more sites with full hook ups.

Campsite 98 was amazing! Fishing was great so bring the rods! Wife and I stayed two nights. Wind was crazy so tie everything down. Campsite was clean and had shade.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
