We were very happy to see it mowed. When we were there earlier this year to was not. There was NO toilet paper in the restrooms. The gate attendants were very nice people. We have been camping at Liberty Hill for over 50 years

The lake is beautiful, wished we would have brought our fishing poles. The bathrooms are not very clean. Unless you are going to fish there isn't much to do. No hiking trails. There are definitely issues with Argentina Ants. We had to spray numerous times. The sites are nice and big and well maintained.

The grounds needed mowing. Otherwise it was clean. The cabins need some attention but were useable. We always enjoy our stays there.

the grass was at least 1 to 2 foot high. the Screened in shelters are in Awful condition. they don't mind the gate like they use to. It's hard to find anyone there. I will NEVER CAMP THERE AGAIN.

Great shaded site. Runs down hill a little but easy level. Great camp host across the way.

The whole park needs mowing really bad. Ive camp there for years but that was the first time it looked run down. I thought it was a state park. Really sad theyre going to shut the marina down

We had a great spot! Our kids had a great time fishing. We will return again. I wish the grade had been cut a litte more but it was not too bad.

This is a convenient overnight stop on our trip from Arkansas to the Hill Country of Texas.Its not too far off the road.The sites are large and relatively level.The grass is rarely cut and the ants are plentiful.

We go to Liberty Hill pretty often, but since we like it at a slower pace so we mostly don't go on the weekends. We enjoy fishing, or just being able to sit outside and look at the lake and wild life. There are plenty deer that come out in the evening and early mornings.

Its a great park spread out so sites are not to close - for August it was quiet and its never hard getting into the park

Its a beautiful park, but the grass was knee high and one of the campers brought a mower and mowed their own space, I assume its due to contracting budget restraints, if it was kept up more campers would love this park.

We like the park, a lot of nice and a few great camping sites. Lots of areas to go fishing. The park hosts at the gate do a great job with their greeting. The landscape group does a great job maintaining the grounds. We've been coming to this park for over 3 years and the only reason I don't give it a 5 star is probably because of the Marina store and the pier.It seems like the Marina has no set hours, you never know when it is going to be open. There are little kids running around without any adults around (not safe for the kids that close to the water).

The only thing is the lots should have been mowed.

Looks like the trickle down effect of cuts hit the park. We rent yearly for 5 day period and this year grass was grown up beyond the table and pavilion spots.

It would be great if the park monitored people with their pets a little better. Make sure they are on a leash, etc. Also, someone left their dog in their camper all day on the Saturday of our visit. It was pretty annoying to listen to a barking dog all day long. Maybe there should be limits on how long someone can leave their site and leave their pet alone. We enjoy camping there. But we go camping to relax not listen to that all day.

It was a great spot for the view . And close to restrooms . The grass was over my knees , had to have my son come with a weedeater and make us a trail to walk to car and restroom . But other than that a great time at the lake

We like liberty hill, but our sites had brush everywhere from an unfinished tree removal & grass was very tall making it uncomfortable to walk in.

I wanted to share some observations from my recent visit to the park. While the park has a certain charm due to its age, I would recommend that visitors avoid using the bathrooms and showers, as they are quite dated.It would also be wise to bring ant spray. We experienced a significant ant problem inside and outside our camper, and they unfortunately managed to get into our food. Additionally, while some areas of the grass were mowed, other sections were quite overgrown. We ended up with a lot of bug bites, and accessing the water required walking through this tall grass.Finally, we were disappointed to find that the beach area was closed during our visit, and this was not mentioned when we made our booking.I hope this information is helpful for future visitors.

I see where at most parks Whitney Tx and Navarro have people living onsite They should have to move every 14 days Th[s is not fair for tax payers The parks are not kept maintained like they in the past the table grounds not kept,has a hole in it. Old bird house is falling down Navarro hope this helps we are all tax payers and should be Equal for eveyone

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
