Copperas Creek Campground in Comanche County is located 1 hr 23 min southwest of Weatherford, TX with an elevation of 1,180 feet. There are a total of 69 campsites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs between 30 and 150 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $130.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, amphitheater, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Part of the electrical connection was broken for the shore power for the rv. It got us by for a great weekend but for safety reasons it needs to be replaced.

Lot 57 is partially shaded with a good view of the lake. There is no bathrooms and showers are a short walk across the street.

The camp host was very nice and helpful. You would be hard pressed to get a site without a lake view. The bathrooms were clean and the showers hot.

Lot 47 has a great view of the lake as most sites do. There is no shade unless you are at the picnic table. Perfect sunrise spot.

Electrical boxes need servicing. Theyre in need of serious repairs. Other than that we had an enjoyable relaxing weekend

We were in sites 12 and 13. Great view of the lake, close to the swim area, pretty good shade in both. Its unfortunate that they close this side of the park at Oct 1 - April 1.

great campsite with lots of room. #65 a little too much dirt and sand scrub growth around shade tree needs cleaned up ants were a big problem satisfied other than that

Nice Park but would have enjoyed more if previous campers hadnt left fire pit full of trash and smoldering (thought there was a fire ban ?) and dog food everywhere, ants everywhere, didnt see anyone taking care of park the 3 days we where there

Very nice park. Lots of shade trees. Water is pleasant. Relaxing and quiet. Lots of places to ride bikes or scooters. Have some decent places to swim in parts of the park.
