The location was perfect overlooking the lake. Very quiet and perfect for stargazing. We stayed in the full hookup loop and everything worked fine. Staff was very kind at front entrance. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Very nice park. Campsites were nicely spaced. We had full hookups. Shade during the day. The lake was low but the views from the campsite were very nice. The park is only 15-20 minutes away from both Dublin and Comanche. The respective museums were pleasant and informative. The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Museum was very cool. Recommended restaurants: Dublin/Granny Clarks, Comanche/Harvest Restaurant. Good antiquing in both towns. Must visit world-class Brennan Vineyards in Comanche and Veldhuizen Dairy Farm (awesome cheeses) in Dublin.

Loved this campground!! Lots of space between the campsites, beautiful lake, plenty of shade in some areas. We'll definitely come back to this spot. The camp hosts were 2nd to none!!! So very friendly and helpful!! Love this place!!

Beautiful view of the lake and not many Rv spots in that small area, only one problem is it’s a little ways away from the water.

If you are wanting to truly get away this is the place to go and I say this because we have Verizon cell phones and you can only get text and phone calls no data service. Also good luck with a TV signal, so if the weather is bad and you have to stay in your camper make sure you have a DVD player. The staff at the park are very friendly and helpful they make you feel at home. The facilities all worked and were clean nice place to go will be revisiting when the weather is nicer. There is also a nice Mexican restaurant just outside the park.

One of our favorite campgrounds to just get away and relax. The campground has always been clean and well maintained. Itss usually not busy on non-holiday weekends in the fall, winter and spring.

In Friday we arrived at 5:40pm and there was no one to check us in or show us where to go. We ended up finding our spot on our own after calling and no one answering the phone.

We loved this spot!! It had the most perfect view. We have a toy hauler and just opened the back patio and, OMG, what a perfect view!! This are was very quiet and secluded from everything else, so we loved it. There is a lot of separation between sites for privacy. We will definitely come back!!We saw a lot of people fishing and having fun with their jet skies and boats.Not far from Comanche or Dublin.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in mid-November of 2019 and found the campground to be clean and well maintained. Our site had a level asphalt pad and offered full hookups. The campground offers restroom facilities with cold running water and flush toilets. The restrooms were clean and well stocked during our visit. We did not see any shower facilities near our campsite. We enjoyed our stay here would recommend this location to friends. The gate attendant said this campground gets very full during the summer months and highly recommended making reservations on Recreation.gov up to six months in advance if you'd like to visit during the peak season.
