Cages Bend Campground in Sumner County is located just 14 min east of Hendersonville, TN with an elevation of 479 feet. There are a total of 42 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 87 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. All sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $30.00 to $35.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, laundry facility, playground, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Very nice place to camp. Nice scenic views. Can be a little noisy when staying next to the boat ramps, but overall a nice place to get away. Will stay again.

The campground was nice. It was well taken care of however, I had two consecutive stays booked three nights in one spot two nights in another. when I arrived, They told me that I would have to wait three hours from the time that I checked out of my spot until I could check into the next one at 3pm no exceptions, because a cleaning crew needed to clean the site before I could take it. I told them that I didnt need it cleaned. They told me I still would have to pack all my stuff up and wait three hours from 12pm - 3pm on the boat ramp with my RV to check into the other spot. So I canceled the last two nights and went to another park because if I was going to wait three hours, I may as well drive three hours to another park. Other than that, it was a nice park.

Great stay at Cages Bend. Park host and park rangers do an amazing job. Sites are in most part very clean and of good size. Easy access to the lake and centrally located to area things to do.

I have been camping at this campground since I was a little girl. I have always loved this campground. Over the years I have stayed on almost every site and there really isn't a bad spot in the park. The bathrooms are always clean, however they are very outdated and it would be nice to have bathrooms like at Cedar Creek that are all separate so the doors can be locked while you shower especially since anyone can access these restrooms from outside the campground. I have never felt unsafe but with times changing it would be nice to have added protection. There has always been friendly hosts and grounds keepers. My family and I plan to continue camping here for years to come. We have 4 more trips planned this year here at Cages Bend.

Cages bend is a beautiful campground. Many of the sites right on the water. Restrooms were clean. Hosts very friendly. Enjoyed our time there so relaxing.

Cages Bend is at the top of our list of campsites. It's clean, and the hosts are great at helping with anything you may need. The sites are spread apart, and almost every site has a view of the lake. I wish it were bigger because it is hard to get a spot.

Cages Bend is a beautiful, quiet campground on Old Hickory Lake. We have been camping here for over 20 years and have stayed in nearly every campsite! The campground has gravel and concrete pads, but every site has a great view. We have had many hosts over the years, but this year's was exceptional! We already have a return trip reserved for next Spring!

Broke down and had to stay extra day after park closed waiting for tow truck.everyone was understanding and helpful. The park is excellent and I will be coming back often. Very well kept and attendants were very friendly.

Needing updated tables and wood replaced on certain sites. Lots dead trees and limbs. Cleanup crew have no respect for campers still there. Hosts could be more friendly.

We arrived to a clean, nicely raked camp site and enjoyed a week of beautiful weather. The host always had a smile and wave as she passed on her rounds. We will come again to this well kept campground. Thank you for your hard work.

Cages Bend is a beautiful and well maintained campground with a fantastic Campground Host! We have visited this campground for 19 years and have stayed in nearly every site! There is no "bad view" from any of them!

We had a wonderful campsite on the lake. Great views, spacious campsite, level concrete pad for the camper. If you have a kayak perfect place to put in steps from your site. The bathhouse was clean, but needs a serious update. At the very least repainted.
