Close to Nashville. Nice campground be careful when you choose your site - ours was very tight with dealing with a wall & having enough room to put down our steps.

The waterfront sites are very nice and roomy. Campground well kept and just a nice place to get away. The only drawback are the restrooms which need updating. There is no ventilation in the restrooms and with 90 degree heat and high humidity, the air inside was stifling. Also contributes to moldy shower curtains and shower stalls. This definitely needs addressed soon.

We had a lovely quiet view of the lake. The utilities functioned properly. The only negative has nothing to do with the park at all, very hot and humid so we were not able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. When we are in the Nashville area, this will be the campground we will return to, just not in August.

What a great campground. The host was very friendly making check in a breeze.I stayed in two different sites, four days each. There are a mix of campsite sizes. Some concrete and some gravel. Larger rigs should take care to check the length of the campsite. Except for a couple of sites, the rest had plenty of shade. Definitely recommend spots 34 and 40. I will definitely stay here again.

Bath houses are clean as can be, but very old and outdated. Campground hosts were very kind to my family, but some people in my group (staying in other campsites) were fussed at for a dog being off leash. We understand the dog is supposed to be leashed at all times, but this dog is a service animal, and must be exercised daily, off leash. The campground should provide an area for off leash exercise.

Campground is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. The sites are maintained and cleaned upon arrival. Great view of the lake and sites are not stacked on top of each other.

Beautiful place! Only issue we had was the bathrooms arent clean. The showers need scrubbed!

We love the smaller campground feel of Cages Bend; however, the bath house sure could use a makeover. This campground is almost always full to capacity and could sure use this update.

Our favorite campground.

Relatively small campground that offers a great view of the lake and access for swimming, paddling, or small craft launch.

We were on site 5, this is a very short site camper be aware not a lot of room. Very nice campground could use some updates to the bathrooms though. The exhaust system could work better to draw the moisture and humidity out of the bathrooms. The ada/family bathroom has no fan. Nice quiet campground with beautiful views of the lake. Lots of deer too

Had a great time, until the power went out about 9:30 on Saturday night, thankfully it only lasted 3 hrs.

Six day stay POWER was out two days for three and five hours with no communication from Park management host Rangers also several dead tree limbs in the trees above campers. The Cumberland River is not very clean and the riverbank near campsite was extremely littered with logs and trash, dead fish, plastic bottles, plastic pipes, and other debris bath houses were OK but needed an upgrade Lots of traffic on boat ramp right next to the camp sites that was sketchy and skeptical at the least one evening there was four police cars with lights on for an hour and a half, very unsettling when you have small children around.

Unfortunately, we were unable to go- but the attendant, Holly, was kind enough to call and check on us when we did not arrive. A nice touch!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
