Beautiful location with many sites having view of the water. Well maintained camground. Convenient to Nashville.

Great place to camp. This weekend was quiet. Loved the site next to the lake.

Overall it was great. Only issue was the guy that ran the place was restrictive on the areas he would alow me to bass fish. That was lame.

Lovely campground. Sites 4 & 5 are under a walnut tree couldnt sit outside because of falling walnuts ( October). Bathhouse desperately needs upgrading!

The only issue I had. Was my site(#5), it should be closed and not used by anyone during times of the year that mature black walnut tree is dropping. The nuts were the size and weight of a baseball and drop non stop. going outside was a gamble. Hits on my camper were extremely loud and scary. Beautiful park, bad site. The entire time I was at my site had to be indoors. Sitting outside was not an option.

This is one of our favorite local camping spots. It's hard to get into, but worth it. The camp hosts are really great!

Wed booked site #5 but there were large black walnut fruits falling from the tree over the site. Out of concern for our solar panels we looked for a site without a fruiting tree and 9 was available. The staff was wonderful getting our site changed (and the additional fee for the waterfront site paid). What a treat as wed never been able to snag one of these sites before. Great experience all around!

Really nice and helpful host. We frequent Cages bend . It's not a long way from home but it feels like a big getaway every time.

The area is beautiful. We were able to get a site by the water on our 2nd stay. There were definitely some issues though. First there were no trashcans at each site like other campsites. This is a very big inconvenience especially when you travel with a pet. We had to provide our own trash can and bags (were given 1 very thin small one when we entered) for a 8 night stay which meant many trips up to the dumpster. The restrooms were not in good shape and in dire need of renovation. Shower areas in the main women's restroom has only one bench outside of the shower stalls so no way for someone to sit down, get dried off and get dresses without being in full view of anyone else entering that area. The handicap shower (only 1 for men & women) was located on the back side with no signage. We only found it because someone else we knew stayed there before and told us where it was. First time I went to use it there was someone inside so I waited for them to come out. When the door opened I was very surprised to see it was a worker who maintains the campsites instead of a handicap person. This happened more than once. They hang out in the parking lot behind the restrooms more than they work in the site areas. The handicap shower room has no ventilation so very hard for someone with breathing problems to be in there for very long. There was an enormous amount of mold all over the shower curtain which is completely unacceptable. Shower curtains are not that expensive and if not kept cleaned then they should replace them. It also begs the question on how well/often they clean. I took pictures of the curtain and was very careful not to touch it while showering. This was hard being a handicap person who already has trouble standing for long periods. There was a bench but it also had mold so not usable. The drain also needed to be cleaned I guess because water kept going past it. All in all nice area but not very handicap friendly.

Was a very quiet and peaceful getaway. Clean and well keep!

Clean sites, quiet and peaceful campground. My only dislike is the narrow road coming up to the campground. A car actually hit a camper in the curve while we were there. Poor engineering.

Beautiful location! We throughly enjoyed our spot by the lake which provided a lot of relaxation. The only drawback was that there was no water pressure in the hose at the dump station which made it virtually impossible to use.

Beautiful campground on the lake. Staff was wonderful and the park is very clean. Will return.

The staff are excellent and good help. Campsites are large and very well kept.Lack of sewer drains at the sites is extra work and the bathrooms are in need of total updating but overall it is a very nice campground

Site #9 was close to water and level. A lot of space between sites and campground was well maintained. Personnel were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Over all it as very peaceful and relaxing

While there is nothing that can be done about the hilly location it makes the park is not very handicap friendly. We were only given 1 small thin trash bag for a week stay and there are no trash cans at each site so it is very inconvenient especially for handicap people. Luckily we keep trash bags in our rv. The site cleaning people seemed to spend more time either in their truck or in the handicap bath/shower room than working. There was also no way we could work out in the park that allowed handicap access to get down to the waters edge to go fishing. The bathrooms are in need of work at the very least if not upgrading. The regular shower stalls have a small dressing area but no place to sit down except outside the showers themselves out in the open where everyone else can see you.

Close to Nashville. Nice campground be careful when you choose your site - ours was very tight with dealing with a wall & having enough room to put down our steps.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
