We enjoyed our stay at Good Meadows. The garbage was well taken care of and staff cleaned the bathrooms daily. The fire pit had been recently cleaned out as well.

Very nice location. Just a few steps away from the Truckee River and a quick drive to Lake Tahoe.

Really nice surrounding. The only negative point is the noise from the nearby road.

First time there and really enjoyed it. We were in site #17. We experienced initial difficulties in leveling our Class B Sprinter due to the downhill slope of the site. Changing sites appeared to be problematic although the camp host was helpful in explaining how we could do it online. We decided to stay in that site and the host came down and checked on us to ensure we were settled. The campground is convenient to both Truckee and north Lake Tahoe. While there was some road noise, the sound of the Truckee River masked it for us. It is a little slice of paradise right off Hwy 89. There was quite a bit of one nighters (usually tent campers) and a lot of sites were empty during the day for campers who take day trips around the area. That made it an especially quiet campground.Vault toilet restrooms were cleaned every day and always had plenty of toilet paper. No flies or bugs in the restrooms!

Nice camp, bit of a hike down to the water. Campground was covered in hundreds of ant hills.

Clean campsite and bathroom. Quiet despite being near road, river drowns out the noise. Respectful neighbors.

Nice and quiet, despite being close to the road. Small campground means campsite is near the restroom, but not too near. Campground host was onsite. Bathrooms were very clean. Note the bathrooms are pit toilet only; no sinks, no showers. There is a faucet for potable water. Very close driving distance to Pallisades Tahoe and close to Truckee and Tahoe City.

We loved this campground. It was well kept and everything worked as it should. Good river access and conveniently located between Truckee and Tahoe City. Bring a broom, the campgrounds are well used and dusty, but in very good shape. We had a positive experience here.

Great little campground on the river. Always a pleasure to stay there. Now if the camp host was available multiple times. He was there, just didn't want to have anything to do with campers. Needs to be replaced, does not represent your organization well at all.

Great setting. Host watchfulAnd communicative. He kept restrooms clean and stocked. Host also monitored sites keeping them all current for reservation status.

nice big campsites. was actually a bit too spread out in 18 with our trailer being confined to the designated parking. Overall great spot tho. some hwy noise but if you can get a spot by the river the hwy is mostly drowned out. great location for going between truckee, olympic/squaw valley, and tahoe. mens long drop wasn't too bad! i think folks knew to keep the lid closed.

Stayed in Site #8. It was mid-week and near the end of summer. So not very active during the day or night. Rented a 16' trailer through Airbnb. It was dropped off, so the site worked well as a 'pull-through'. Throughout my two-day stay, I enjoyed the easy access to the river. Didn't need the restroom. The site host never bothered me, but he was present and appeared to be very attentive. The site was perfectquiet, peaceful, and full of solitude. I couldnt have asked for a better spot.

Great campground in the Sierra Nevada.. Stayed at Site 22, in Mid July. No problem with bugs, very nice campsite with a large bear box and fire ring. We just stayed overnight on a pass thru, but this is a great overall location to experience the North Lake Tahoe area. Truckee is a 5-7 minute drive, with great dining and shopping options. Tahoe City is a short drive, as is the Donner Pass area, which is not to be missed. Clean pit toilets a short walk to the river if you want to take a dip.

Very clean and well laid out camp ground. There is even a nice little wading pool at the edge on the river for the little ones. Only negative was the road noise from the highway that could still be heard throughout the campground.

The site was perfect with plenty of room for our 8 person tent and canopy. It was very close to the bathrooms. Short walking distance to the river. Beautiful overall. The road noise becomes white noise and tend to forget youre so close. Only issue we had was the host. Hes not welcoming at all. We didnt even know who he was until we were packing up and he accused us of chopping branches off the trees. He went as far as to report us to the forest ranger. Ludacris! We camp regularly and know better than to mistreat Mother Nature. Shame on the host!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
