Wonderful campground and good facilities.

When booking site it says water at campsite. Not usable for an rv to use . I had to leave since I had not planned on zero water input. The site needs to be corrected.

Our campsite provided no screening from either the road or adjoining campsites. The camp host was MIA. Staff at Visitor Center did not have information about a specific trail that interested us. The area is stunningly beautiful but overlooks are quite crowded.

I enjoyed camping at Cape Perpetua. It has nice, clean flush toilets and a short hike to a large Sitka spruce tree at the end of the campground.Its nice to hike up to the visitor center and then out to the coast from the campground.I'll definitely camp there again!

Very nice campsite, bathrooms were clean and the campsites are very fun to be at, love the sound of the little creek behind the sites. My only problem with the site is the road into the campground is trashed! So many huge potholes, you have to swerve left and right through the whole stretch.

I had reserved sit #7, which turns out to be a hillside. I came in a motorhome. I would have had to block up my rear axle 8 - 10 inches to get level. I just left and drove the extra time to get to my next location. I mentioned the situation to the "manager". He seemed completely uninterested, and went back into his trailer. I recommend recreation.gov takes pictures from a side view so you can see that this would only work for a tent site. The picture they have for #7 is taken down hill. Very misleading. I'm out $22.

The camp host was inexplicably hostile to us on our arrival. Stopped to look at the kiosk to see if we could get a copy of the map showing the campground and trails, and he came hurrying over and was demanding to know what we wanted and was very rude. It was bizarre.At the campsite, we had to use leveling blocks under the rear tires and the way it was set up, our neighbors had a tent directly behind our small motor home. Just uncomfortably close. The good news is that the trail to the visitor center was excellent as was the trail down to the beach, so thanks for that.Maybe it is time to figure out how to get cell coverage over forest service campgrounds? Odd that coverage was available on the beach but not at the camp site.

Campsite 21 is a decent campsite. The pad is on a bit of a slope. Wonderful creek sound all night. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. He offered a lot of suggestions for local area hikes.

Beautiful campground with no highway noise despite being so close. Access to hiking trails, visitor center, and beach were all fantastic. However, the sites all vary widely in quality. Site #4 was on very uneven ground, and had no privacy at all.

nice camp ground with nice trails near by that take you to the ocean or in the nearby woods. Definitely would stay there again.

Stayed in site 26 and would definitely stay in the campground again. 26 was tight for our 10x10 tent and shares the area with site 25. Privacy was lacking but location made up for it, the sound of the creek was wonderful! Hikes can be started from the campground including easy access to the ocean.Bathrooms were clean and maintained and the camp host was friendly and helpful.

We personally LOVED staying here and I am only giving it 4 stars because some of the sites were pretty rough in terms of being right up against the road with no shade or privacy - and the very bright lights on the outside of the bathrooms were on all night which was distracting - otherwise, absolutely gorgeous! Don't miss the .5 or so mile walk to the Giant Spruce just past the campground, and highly suggest walking or driving to the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center - great exhibit about the local features and then you can walk right to Thor's Well and Spouting Horn. Hopefully next time we'll also go to the top of the mountain. I've never stayed in a campground with so many hikes right from the tent, really a magical spot!

Lots to do here.

Camp host was helpful and relaxed. We were near the group site, which looks like an idyllic meadow with space for at least a dozen tents, running water, and an electical outlet. Word to the wise, #37 is an island unto itself at the end of the line inside the turn around loop- it was fantastic! Would 100% return.

Quite canyon with trickling stream. Bathroom facilities were clean, campsite was large and comfortable.

Great spots their was a rat but overall the park was very nice. It was very secluded some sites are better than others but this park is a little hidden jem for sure.

The campgrounds were very well-maintained, including the bathrooms, which were cleaned daily. The onsite potable water and flushing toilets makes this campsite ideal for those new to camping, especially little ones.There is tons of great access to hiking trails into the hills, up the cape, or along the beach. We were there Memorial Day weekend, and the wildflower blooms were beautiful.

Great views, trails nearby, clean bathrooms, camphost was friendly and very helpful! Overall great camping trip.Site 16 is on a slight angle, the tent pad is on the smaller side and we're very close to our neighbor 17, but otherwise it was fine.

Lovely campground centrally located for exploring the coast! Be aware that some of the sites are not very level. My original site had a steep drop so I had to change due to my vans clearance. Camp Host was great and helped me out!

We had an incredible time camping at Perpetua. We spent our days hiking up to the summit and down to Thor's Well. The trails are all perfectly maintained and it was a blast exploring. I really appreciated how each campsite had running water easily accessible and there were multiple bathroom options. Would definitely stay again and would recommend others stay here as well.

The camp host was super friendly and welcoming! We had an amazing time. Just a short walk to all the attractions. The sunset was one of the most beautiful and we were the only ones on the beach. Our only regret is that we couldnt stay longer.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
