Site A-9. Stayed for 3 nights mid-week. Host was very nice. The nearby toilets were very smelly, but it was just after a long Labor Day weekend. Sites were clean. Some yellowjackets but we brought a few traps. There are bears in the area and host reminded us to use the onsite bear box for all food/ice chests.

The hiking to the different waterfalls was the highlight of our trip. Meat bees were a problem when eating outside. There is no information about what to do if you have paid online because you have no paystub.

Good location right next to McCloud falls.

Very clean and well maintained. Camp Host was off duty while we were there. Trails are nice and the McCloud river was beautiful.

The overall campground was nice enough but this space was funky - it had several cut down trees across it, the parking space was quite a ways from the table and fire ring and it was too exposed to the neighboring camps - I left early because of it - but to be fair I had a good experience the previous few nights at another site

A beautiful spot on the river, just half mile flat easy walk to Middle Falls (also a loop drive to viewpoints for all 3 falls) Good trout fishing as well!

We did not have a good experience at all. The camp host had a problem about everything we did. She gave us warnings about EVERYTHING including using too much water, making too much noise which we werent at all. She said we werent allowed to leave ANY coolers out at all, so when we went to walk around we had to pack everything away which makes no sense cause we were coming right back. We were so scared to do anything cause we knew it would upset her.Also, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! They smelled horribly and its smelled all the way to our campsite. The mountains and water were beautiful, but way too many negatives for what it was. We will never return.

One of, if not my favorite place to camp! Beautiful, clean grounds, toilets serviced regularly.

I loved this campsite! The site is located close to the falls (under 10 minute walk) and bathrooms (under 5 minute walk). When it is quiet at night, you can go to sleep with the sound of the waterfall. The deer are shameless, its funny, they come right up to you! The campsite has shade, sun, a table, fire ring, and bear locker.Only downside: we had a campsite neighbor with high tech super bright lights, that lit up their campsite plus our campsite (we just wanted to chill by the fire), and loud music.

Great campground! Right by the river, lovely walk to the falls, plenty of trees and relative privacy. Even the other campers were friendly and respectful (YRMV). Just a vault latrine but that doesn't bother me.

The site was fine, but forest fire smoke compelled us to leave for better breathing.

Beautiful location, usually very quiet aside from the occasional rowdy group. The campground host Rhonda does an excellent job of maintaining and supervising the campground.

We booked the week of our camping weekend. An were able to get the last reserve spot for that weekend. It turned out great, the campground is easy to navigate they space and other spaces were well taken care of. An everything was right on the Mccloud River. All day people were fishing enjoying the waterfall. We did a really nice hike along the river. It was a great location for the class we're taking in town. There is a local grocery store that was really nice to go to that have really fair prices. We are definitely coming back to this site.

While the site itself is beautiful, the lady that is hire to host this campground is an absolute nutcase. Someone camped in our spot and when we brought it to her attention, she told us that we better go find a spot to do dispersed camping because she "couldn't do anything" about someone stealing the site I reserved a month in advance. She yelled at me and took my license plate number and then went on a tirade about how the forest service is underfunded and that she personally doesn't get enough time off. Totally unprofessional and I never even got to camp in the site I paid for.

What a great visit this year. The camp host Rhonda is on it and all behavior was as it should be. Bathrooms were clean and stocked, campsites were clean and quiet at 10.

The site was spacious with lots of shade. The nearby Lower and Middle waterfalls were beautiful. Burney Falls was worth the 45 minute drive. It was spectacular and we didnt want to leave.

The campground itself is nice. It does get busier on the weekend and attracts city folk. We had camp chair and firewood stolen from our site while we were out for the day. The host was nice, but she's only onsite during the weekends.

Hike the river trail. Find a shady spot for a quiet read. Take a drive through lush forest to Medicine lake. See piles of volcanic rocks on your way. Swim. Fish. Relax. Fowlers is a true vacation spot.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
