Sites are relatively spread out which is nice. Great access to the creek and hiking trails! Everything seemed to be in good shape and well maintained.

There was a no water. We came with our RV dry, had to re-hook up, drive 10 miles to the Ranger station for water..There was nothing on recreation.gov. Indicating that they shut off the water for the season.

Campsites are shady and well equipped with a bear proof food box and picnic table. It was raining when we arrived and sites may have ponding water on locations where a tent may be set up. We were in our RV so ground water was not a problem.Beautiful trail to waterfalls is located next to campground. Our senior park pass provided a nice discount on our fee.We will return for future visits as we live about 90 minutes from this campground. Perfect for weekend getaways.

Beautiful campground on the McCloud River. Very clean and well maintained. Water was shut off in early October due to temperatures dropping.

It has beautiful river and falls next to campground and there's well maintained trail along the river. Enough distance between each camp site so most of case you won't be bothered by others. No cell signal and no hot shower but rest room was very clean.

Camp host seemed to overstep their authority by telling us how to run or campsite beyond the regular rules.

Beautiful area. The host was very nice.

The camp host Ronda E was very kind and great to talk to you. The camp is very well run and the campground neighbors were great.

Beautiful waterfalls of course, and camp host is super awesome - she gave us the rundown on many other local spots to check out.

Lovely campground near the river and walkable to beautiful waterfalls. Campsite #2 was nice and large and had a big flat area for our tent. Only negative was that at times the toilet smell wafted our way. Would definitely return but choose a campsite further from the toilets.

I love Fowlers! Campsites are spaced apart enough for privacy, & there is a wonderful path leading to lovely waterfalls in each direction. Such a beautiful area, & many cool hikes & day trips around McCloud.

Great spot with nice local tries for hiking and biking.

The campground itself was very enjoyable, with well-maintained grounds and a welcoming setting.

Beautiful campground. Plenty of room and didn't feel like I was too close to other sites. Loved the accessibility to the river and waterfalls. My site was along the walking trail, which sometimes got busy, but that did not bother me. Will definitely come back.

Site A-9. Stayed for 3 nights mid-week. Host was very nice. The nearby toilets were very smelly, but it was just after a long Labor Day weekend. Sites were clean. Some yellowjackets but we brought a few traps. There are bears in the area and host reminded us to use the onsite bear box for all food/ice chests.

The hiking to the different waterfalls was the highlight of our trip. Meat bees were a problem when eating outside. There is no information about what to do if you have paid online because you have no paystub.

Good location right next to McCloud falls.

Very clean and well maintained. Camp Host was off duty while we were there. Trails are nice and the McCloud river was beautiful.

Very relaxing.

The overall campground was nice enough but this space was funky - it had several cut down trees across it, the parking space was quite a ways from the table and fire ring and it was too exposed to the neighboring camps - I left early because of it - but to be fair I had a good experience the previous few nights at another site

A beautiful spot on the river, just half mile flat easy walk to Middle Falls (also a loop drive to viewpoints for all 3 falls) Good trout fishing as well!

We did not have a good experience at all. The camp host had a problem about everything we did. She gave us warnings about EVERYTHING including using too much water, making too much noise which we werent at all. She said we werent allowed to leave ANY coolers out at all, so when we went to walk around we had to pack everything away which makes no sense cause we were coming right back. We were so scared to do anything cause we knew it would upset her.Also, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! They smelled horribly and its smelled all the way to our campsite. The mountains and water were beautiful, but way too many negatives for what it was. We will never return.

One of, if not my favorite place to camp! Beautiful, clean grounds, toilets serviced regularly.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
