Campground was fine. Overall area has a lot to offer. Unfortunately a few campers had little yappy dogs, barking frequently and for prolonged periods. Went to camp host twice to see if something could be done. Both times the host had a sign out reading ' off duty, at another campground '.

We loved this campground. The sites are covered and as private as they can be. You are SO close to beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. The camp hostess was amazing and super helpful! The only downfall is the toilets as they are outhouses. And there are no showers. But we rented an RV, and it wasnt as much of a problem for us.

Camp host unavailable most of the time and we were asked to remove our American flag from our campsite. Asked us not to use our lantern and other campers complained about our generator even though we only used it during approved hours. When other campers had unleaded dogs chasing deer and other wildlife host couldnt be found anywhere in camp. Most of the time there was a sign posted on her site saying off duty . I had to hunt down a ranger to take care of the problem.

Campground host was making her own rules. Camp quiet time is 10 pm to 6am. She made it 8 pm to 9 am ,no generators. I have been camping there a long time and she is the worst.l went to Headquarters and combined

I love camping here! You can hear the sound of the creek as you relax under the trees. Its situated between middle falls and lower falls and is a fairly easy walk to both.

This was my third visit to Fowlers Camp in the last four years andd it remains one of my favorite campgrounds. This years camp host Rhonda was friendly and availble and it was a pleasure dealing with her. What a treasure Fowlers is to the park system and I will be back.Thank you,Greg Cole

We enjoyed our actual site, but the campers on either side of us dampened the experience. Thudding music from one side and tipsy LOUD cackling women on the other side . I wish the camp host would've come around and said something.

Nice campground and great access to the river. Our spots werent very level but fine. The campground was full but people were very quiet and nice. The host Rhonda was great- lots of good information and helpful. Only negative would be the bathrooms really smelled and our campgrounds were very close. We moved to the farther one when we ate. We will definitely be back!

Great campground right on the river. Fantastic trout fishing just below the campground and at the middle falls, which is an easy 1/2 mile walk.

We have been camping every year at Fowlers for the last 10 years. It is one of my grandson's favorite places. Can't say enough good things about it.

Weve been camping at Fowler for almost 30 years. The place never disappoints however, this years host was not very kind. The previous host was very welcoming and easy to get along with and will be sorely missed.The new host should work on her people skills and her communications. After almost 30 years of going there, Im not sure if we were going to go next year if she is still there.Which is sad because my oldest son has spent his 30 years birthday up there.

Family been camping at Fowlers for 30+ years. New camp host Ronda Elliott seems to just like the fact that it puts her in some type of power, because she will straight up talk crab about the forest workers and say they are lazy, because he doesn't clean the restrooms, and she will let you know it is not her job to clean the bathrooms . Every other camphost would walk around, greet campers, clean the bathrooms, police the campground.Its unfortunate we no longer have a camp host that actually cares about the camp grounds. However just make sure you got your cleaning supplies and toilet paper, because this is the season where fowlers has not been taken care of.For the most part camping was a success.

Rating good, but dont get me wrong, we had a great time at Fowler, but it was very hot this weekend. Nice large camp spot, but had to chase the shade around! The waterfall hike/walk is wonderful. From the campground I would say the Lower Falls are closest. We found a spot to swim/dip our feet in. The Middle Falls is the biggest and pretty tricky to get down to the water. Involves boulder hopping or crabbing down in my case The camp host was pleasant but didnt come around until our third day there. Our neighboring site was terribly noisy until 11 pm all three nights. And the restrooms were very smelly and not very clean. I set up my own private privy.

A nice but heavily used campground during summer holidays. It is a much more pleasant experience, at the campground and on the trails during off season.

Gorgeous campground. However, Site chosen noted as 30" limit on tt. Our 30" tt could no way fit to include jaming in the truck on the pad. After trying several configurations, we looked for camp host. Off duty. We left and stayed elsewhere. The next day, toured the whole campground looking for site I reserved for two weeks later. Couldn't find it after two passes. No camp host on duty. All that to say, campground is beautiful, however not made for tt over about 20 feet. This absolutely should be noted in the description.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
