Weve been camping at Fowler for almost 30 years. The place never disappoints however, this years host was not very kind. The previous host was very welcoming and easy to get along with and will be sorely missed. The new host should work on her people skills and her communications. After almost 30 years of going there, Im not sure if we were going to go next year if she is still there.Which is sad because my oldest son has spent his 30 years birthday up there.

This is the first year that Fowlers has been anything but excellent for us. Fowlers is a nice campground with a great location on the river but it needs to be managed more closely given the number of campers and day trippers who visit.

I've wanted to camp at Fowlers for a long time, & finally got my chance mid-October. Very few people during the week, & though there were more on the weekend, it still felt pretty quiet. Sites are set up for maximum privacy, & there's plenty of room between sites. This campground seemed to draw really nice people, too.

This area is really beautiful, & well-maintained trails to waterfalls go right through the campground, so it's easy to take beautiful walks without driving. The paved walkway along the river makes much of it accessible to all.

Good place for dogs, with enough wild areas adjacent to the campsites. Great swimming holes for dogs in the river, as well.

the campsite feel very private, you don'f feel like you are right on top of one another. Easy walk to both Lower and Middle Mc Cloud falls
