Tenmile is a quaint, small campground. I was concerned it might be loud being right off the two-lane road but there was very little traffic and we didn't notice the road. We had a walk in site, #3, which I thought might be a hassle to be away from our motorcycles, but it proved nice as our site was set back and gave us a little more seclusion from the other sites. Thankfully we had site 3 as it backed up to the woods and had more privacy. The magical part though was Ten Mile creek itself! Unfortunately for the campsite as a whole, you don't even know it's there unless you are listening. I heard it in the background and went searching for it in the trees behind our site. It is a beautiful creek with a couple nice holes to cool off in and was very fun to explore We never saw another soul back there. I'm not even sure if the other camp sites can access it as the semi-trail was thru site 3. Definitely worth a stay if you are a creek lover!

Clean and quiet site. Was close to the host (helpful) and close to restrooms (Very helpful). It was my six year olds first camping experience and it was perfect. This site would be better on a slightly cooler month as it got full sun. If you plan on being out and about exploring, sightseeing or swimming then it will do perfect! Only a mile and a half from a water source (which in my opinion isnt far- just bring a jug). Ten Mile - we will meet again soon!

great campsite. Summer heat brings mosquitos and the streams running by the campground ensure that they are plentiful. Make sure to bring preventative measures. Our thermacells weren't sufficient and we had to use spray on repellent. Other than that small issue, the campsites are wonderfully maintained, the pit toilet was clean, the camp host was friendly and accommodating. We will be returning!

Stayed for 1 night at site 8. Views were incredible. Theres a short walk to the stream. The area was clean. The only small negative is thats it just off the road so you can hear cars passing by but I would stay again.

The area was perfect in between the big redwoods and close to a stream that connects to Hume Lake. Our host was extrao y helpful and kind. Restrooms were very clean and smelled good which is something odd to say. Cant wait to return with the family.

Nice spot for our group to spread out. Not a lot of trees so it did get hot during the day. Close to Hume lake. Was pretty quiet while we were there. However the field across the way did get a little creepy one night lol (no one was there).

Tons and tons of mosquitos. Some of the campsites are very close to the road. Luckily ours was away. No running water in the toilets (not so great!).Camp host was ok. He did sell us firewood which we were very thankful for as the that was the only solution to keep the mosquitoes away. View was ok, deep in the woods!

We arrived And we left. We didnt even stay. The site for number six is right next to the road. A car was already parked there. There wasnt a host to be found and yes, the bathrooms were dirty as the others have shared..

This campsite is a gem. It is close to Hume lake and kings canyon but also close to sequoia. This central location was clean, easy to find, and the camp host was very helpful. The sites were spacious.

This site was really uninhabitable, specially for a place that can fit 12 people. Lots of space but it was looking unattended. I know were camping but the amount of bugs was insane, there was feces everywhere and the floors are really uneven. Theres no place to put your tent and be comfortable at the same time. This spot was looking pretty rough, so rough we we had to look else where and lucky enough we found it. They should really work on this place before having it accesible to the public.

Excellent site with a friendly host.

The campsite itself was wonderful. Close to the road but some sites were further back. The only downfall was the construction taking place on the road, which we weren't warned about. 6AM wake up calls with workers but it did give us a pep in our step to get out and explore all day.

There is a small walk down to the creek thats beautiful and fun the water is so cold but refreshing. There also is a few minutes drive down to hume lake which is fun!

Too close to a dirty road

The campground host "Carrie" (sp) was friendly and hard working. The restrooms were cleaned regularly and well stocked.

There was no water anywhere near our campsite. We had to to Hume to get it. The pylons that were place to park your trailer were about 15 yards from the road and the rest of the campsite wear about 25 yard from the trailer. Lots of road noise and there was plenty of room to park the trailer further back nearer to the actual campsite. Bathroom were ok, but a fair walk from our campsite.

I had the #10 group site and it was perfect for our group of four. The floor for our tents area wasn’t completely leveled but it did the job. Nice having two picnic tables. Big space to ourselves. Bathroom was a short walk away. Bees were a bit annoying but I’ve been at worse sites with more bees so this one didn’t bother me. It did bother two others in our group (who were first time campers), so keep in mind unseasoned campers might not like the bees but also not something you can really control, just keep in mind… One dislike was there were no dumpsters at the campground, only recycle at the entrance. We just threw our trash out at Hume Lake. Awesome that this campground was only 5 miles away from the lake. Lake was awesome and definitely a highlight of the trip. You could rent canoes at the Lake store, and buy snacks etc. Weather was nice, low 80s in early August. Neighbors were respectful of noise. Would definitely come here again. 8/10!

Thanks to previous reviewers, we booked this site, #3, PERFECT. Even if the camping loop is near to the quiet route that goes to Hume Lake, this site feels like you are in the middle of the forest. You need to walk form you car, but plenty of space for tents, shade. Perfect. bathroom not too far, not too close. Clean campground, quiet, close to Hume Lake beach that is a perfect spot for an late aftenoon swimming session.

We were in the first loop of the Ten Miles Campground. The campground was very quiet. Only one dry bathroom for the loop betweeen #3 and #4 very clean. Very clean, plenty of places for trash in trash countainer. No water, but Hume lake Sandy Cove Day Use Are is just 10 minutes driving away. Nice Beach, warm water, the perfect place to refresh at the end of the day.

Of the 6 RV sites only 2 had a relatively level spot for an RV reasonably close to the site. If you don't want RV's at 10 Mile, just don't allow them. We moved after the first night to Hume Lake Campground. We had a great site and good experience. The Campground Host helped us at 10 Mile find the correct parking for site #4 and helped us the next day find a site at Hume Lake. Kudos to the campground hosts. Really appreciated their extra effort and assistance.

This campground is perfect if you want to be off the beaten path a little bit. Just a few miles down the road from Hume Lake where we did some fishing and swimming, and only about 20 minutes to Grant’s Village where we could buy the few bits we forgot. A Sunday and Monday night in August and we had the place mostly to ourselves - certainly a little more rustic, with dirt roads to the sites, but for a couple of avid campers with no kids, it was the perfect getaway.

Site 3 is the best. No parking next to the site, but nice and big under trees
@AnatolB6598971 · Camped on Jul 1, 2022 at Campsite #3
it was clean and all campsites were marked who made reservation and for how long.
Restroom were clean and the ranger provide additional toilet paper in case if will run out.
Compare to previous year the garbage tank was emptied properly, so we had enough room to put our.

It was nice surroundings, but very primitive. And very expensive compared to other campgrounds in national parks.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
