I had a reservation for site 11 at ten mile campground starting on labor day and arrived at 2 pm at check in time. After setting up camp for 2 hours the camphost (carrie) and another worker pulled up and told me the loop was closed and I would have to move. I was already tired and I was not happy about this at all!. They told me I could move to any other site on the other loop. After an hour I had moved everything over to the new site and again they approached me and the man told me that the new site that I was on was reserved for somebody else. I was enraged! after 10 or 15 seconds passed by the man said he was only kidding. This was no time for humor. Carrie was pollite but the guy made me really angry. I then spent more time setting up again.

The campground host "Carrie" (sp) was friendly and hard working. The restrooms were cleaned regularly and well stocked.

Beautiful large campsites, semi-private and not very full the weekend we were there. Unfortunately, there was a lot of trash and cigarette butts that we cleaned up while there, but we left the site in much better condition. Good shade and generally quiet. Bathroom was okay. Great hiking nearby. Love this area of CA!
