Great small campground. Well maintained. It is off the beaten path so you not a lot of people drive on the road. The pit toilet is cleaned regularly. Small creek nearby with fish. The mosquito were out in full force so bring bug spray, mostly for the June July months. The camp host was super nice. Gave very good information. The camp has a local bear named boo boo. She is big but is afraid of people and runs when you yell at her. Just keep all you food, toiletries, and cookware in the bear box. The bear box is great and on the bigger side. I would definitely go back!

Wonderfully private, shaded, spacious and close to the creek/ trail to natural wonders. Nice and quiet. Slightly cooler than site 002. Has a bit of a walk from parking (25 yards about) but if you're about getting steps in - it's perfect! My first grader loved this site as she could wander a bit to play by the creek and still be in sight. Close to restroomfor when nature calls. Will return! (With extra bug spray)

Tenmile is a quaint, small campground. I was concerned it might be loud being right off the two-lane road but there was very little traffic and we didn't notice the road. We had a walk in site, #3, which I thought might be a hassle to be away from our motorcycles, but it proved nice as our site was set back and gave us a little more seclusion from the other sites. Thankfully we had site 3 as it backed up to the woods and had more privacy. The magical part though was Ten Mile creek itself! Unfortunately for the campsite as a whole, you don't even know it's there unless you are listening. I heard it in the background and went searching for it in the trees behind our site. It is a beautiful creek with a couple nice holes to cool off in and was very fun to explore We never saw another soul back there. I'm not even sure if the other camp sites can access it as the semi-trail was thru site 3. Definitely worth a stay if you are a creek lover!

The area was perfect in between the big redwoods and close to a stream that connects to Hume Lake. Our host was extrao y helpful and kind. Restrooms were very clean and smelled good which is something odd to say. Cant wait to return with the family.

Thanks to previous reviewers, we booked this site, #3, PERFECT. Even if the camping loop is near to the quiet route that goes to Hume Lake, this site feels like you are in the middle of the forest. You need to walk form you car, but plenty of space for tents, shade. Perfect. bathroom not too far, not too close. Clean campground, quiet, close to Hume Lake beach that is a perfect spot for an late aftenoon swimming session.

Site 3 is the best. No parking next to the site, but nice and big under trees

it was clean and all campsites were marked who made reservation and for how long.
Restroom were clean and the ranger provide additional toilet paper in case if will run out.
Compare to previous year the garbage tank was emptied properly, so we had enough room to put our.

Had campground #3, which is a bit removed from the road, and has a good and big flat spot to set up the tent. Also not far away from the little stream running by it. Very relaxing as long as you do not mind the 50 yd walk to set up the tent etc. We really liked it.
