Would like to see upgraded bathroom and water. Some sites don't really have camping pads. Scenery is great.

The park itself and campsites are very nice. The reason I didn't have the best experience was because the fanily that was supposed to check out at noon so we could check in at 2pm was still there until 6pm. We sat aroubd and waited for them to leave. It began to rain, so they left. We then had to set up our tebt in the pouring rain. We made the best of it, but kind of bummed that we spent $30+ for a partial camping experience. The sites are beautiful and clean. They have a picnic table and firepit/bbq at the sites too, which was so nice for our burgers and smores! We will definitely be back because of how beautiful it is, but hopefully other families will be more considerate of the check out times.

They removed the bathroom at the start of the springer gulch campground. You may as well drive away from the pay campgrounds and camp for free up I believe it's called wagonton. Not worth it anymore unless you get a spot deep in springergulch where the bathroom and water are.

Stayed in site 11 on Aug. 4th. The site was well laid out for our camper van but didn't appear to be a great site for pitching a tent. The water from the pump was brown and we only used it for dousing our fire and cleaning dishes.Other than that I really liked the site.

Toilets were as clean as they could be. Josh, our host, was great and helpful. Had an awesome guys trip. Would definitely visit again.

Springer Gulch is a beautiful area, however, it would be good to know that the rock formations surrounding the camp sites amplify all noises. This is a rustic campground with a hiking trail and river - best suited for shorter trailers or tents. I would have given a higher rating if there had been a camp host or if rangers would have checked the area during our stay.

The best camping spot, #1, at 11 mile canyon. However they took out the lower vault toilet. So plan ahead. We saw a mink by the river and a mama and baby moose walk right by the water pump in the campground. It does get crowded on weekends now a days.

First time tent camper at this spot, and I can't wait to come back in October. I personally think this is the best tent spot in the whole camp ground. I could hear the river, and it was utterly relaxing. Parking spot was very close to where you set up camp. Only downside is they took out the bathrooms that were closer to campsites 1-3, so you do have to go to the other bathroom in the campground maybe a 1/4 mile away. Sunset was absolutely stunning. Josh the camp host was excellent.

If youre going to use Springer Gulch site 1,2, or 3, please understand that the Forest service has removed the vault toilet from that location. Speaking to the docent, he knew of no timeline for its replacement. This leads you with your own options for a bathroom, or a walk up the hill to the upper part of Springer gulch to use the vault toilet up there. Understand also that now the 14 sites at Springer Gulch have only two restrooms. With 8 people allowed per sitedoing the math, you can see thats not the best set up.

Amazing site, beautiful!! Wouldn't recommend for campers or trailers bigger than a pop up (in the loop), it's a tight fit and the direction of where your door will end up is opposite of what you'd want (opens to the road, not the picnic table/hill). It's amazing that the river is just a short walk from the camp site, it's so peaceful and shallow. Fire pits are great, camp host was awesome and helpful. We will absolutely return if we can get one of the spots not on the loop.

My favorite spot in 11 mile. Close to fishing!

Left early. Absolutely terrible campgrounds. No site is remotely level. And, where there's a empty space for a tent, you can count on rain drainage flowing right through the space. The outdoor toilet was the worst in the canyon. My recommendation is that you close that campground until it can be regraded and modernized.

Had a great time except somebody took our spot even though I had called ahead saying I was going to be late and they assured me they would hold my campsite. Luckily another group never showed so we had a campsite anyways

Great and secluded spot with a lot to do nearby on the river and in town, only reason I mark it down a star is because our site, #14, was basically on top of #13. Barely had room to set up 2 tents Most sites have really great setups, but a few are really squeezed together.

Eleven-mile campgrounds are in splendid locationall the campsites are excellent.Be advised that your campsite must be occupied by you on the first day of a multi-day reservationor you risk losing your campsite even though you have it reserved and have paid for it. We were told this by two different employees.

Decent campground, but no host. Recommend sourcing firewood in Lake George vs Spillway.

Great area. If you have a lot of items to bring down to the river, its best to drive. Its quiet of a walk to get to a decent spot. Besides having inconsiderable people at night being loud, everything about the campsite was great.

Very beautiful place to camp but watch out when you enter Eleven Mile Canyon. You must purchase a park permit. When we checked in we told the attendant we were buying the permit for us and our nephew in the vehicle directly behind us. She took our money for both vehicles and then proceeded to charge him as well.

The campsite was super nice and just a walk to the river. There is a long staircase from the parking spot to the campsite which makes it more challenging to set up camp. Overall very nice! Comes with a stair master workout.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
