Gorgeous views, I'll say that! The reservoir looks accessible, but it's a 50-min drive around to get to the nearest entrance, and there's a day fee to access the reservoir. Not to mention there's a separate fee to get into the area where this site is located (that's on top of your reservation fee). Not the most spacious campsites. Decent tree cover, clean sites, but you'll be hard pressed to park 2 cars (at least at sites 2 & 3) as is claimed, and if you're bringing 8 people (max for those sites) they'd better be fitting in the same tent, as there's no room for two. Sites are also a bit slanted, so make sure you lay out your sleeping bags right. The fire pits aren't really made for 8 people to sit around. Lots of interesting rocks and water features for kids to play in, tho.

Awesome campground. Very nice campsites. The camp hosts were very friendly and kept a close eye on the camp ground. The road into Eleven Mile Canyon has a lot of wash board. Considering that every vehicle coming into the canyon has to pay a fee it would be nice if the wash board was taken care of.

#19 campsite is level, easy to place tents. Very quiet camping. There's shade at this campsite.

Campground host was very nice and hospitable. However, as a system, there was an issue with reservations. Wife and I drove 3.5 hours to a site we booked in January/February to find a couple had setup in our spot. Host was very apologetic and said she got the cards late, etc. so I don't blame her. Just wish we wouldn't of had to go through this experience with our 14 month old child. It made for a pretty difficult evening for us.

Beautiful location (rocks & water) with relatively spaced sites. Some sites require walking up/down hill. The well was dry so we had to go to the campground less than a 2 minute drive away to get water which wasn't a big deal. The host is super helpful and keeps the vault toilets spotless. We'll be back.

This is a nice campground and one of my favorite sites. It continues to be frustrating to see all sites reserved and then only half being used. Never saw the camp host in a three day stay.

Site 24 is tucked away at the corner of the campground. Pros: Good privacy as its surrounded with trees and shrubs. Close access to the water. Has enough space for a large setup. Very close to vault toilets. Cons: if the wind blows just right you get to smell the toilets. Parking is tight.

Great spot for relaxing on a hammock in the trees, short hikes to good views, cooling off in the river. Host was great too.

This was the best campsite! For sure felt like it was the prettiest one in the campground. Spacious and beautiful. We loved this campground. The camp host was fantastic. Everything was clean and quiet. Super fun to be near the dam and the reservoir.

Camp Host Blair was very welcoming. My daughter Zoey, age 5, was very moved that he remembered her name at the end of our stay. The campground and toilets were immaculate. Thanks so much for a memorable experience.

Nice campground! Everyone's a bit close but site 12 is a nice distance away. There is a fence preventing exploration towards the dam due to private property. Because of this some people tried to walk right through our site not knowing they couldn't go much further than that. Site 12 is a walk in site maybe 100 yards, the parking area is pretty small so the 2 car max is non-negotiable. Lots of fishermen out, but lots of trout still. Would come back!

The campsite was great! Shade and plenty of space between campers. My t-mobile registered one or two bars. We plan on coming back!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
