Bathrooms on first loop were clean, tiled floors and water was super hot for showers. Even street light above bathrooms made it easy to find at night. Swimming area is roped off for safety and place was very quiet. Convenient to major stores like Walmart and Lowes with many restaurants within 6-17 miles if needed. Great base station for accessing Boone, West Jefferson and Apple orchards. Very clean, safe, and favorite places. If pulling RV recommend the sites 7-20 for ease of backing in with closer to bath house.

This has to be one of the quietest campgrounds Ive ever visited in 40 years. We came in on a Saturday and had people next to us but it was very peaceful. We were on site 13 where the sites are closer together than others but still had plenty of room. Ive never seen campsites this large. Bathrooms were clean and I like how they were close to the dump station. Thats handy. Great place to camp!

We love this spot and have stayed there several times as a large group. This time was the same and very enjoyable. Two unfortunate negative comments are that the grass was extremely high for walking to the lower campsite, and we did have two tents down there, and the flies were the most unbelievable we have ever experienced. We have camped on beaches with black flies and mosquitoes, and camped literally all across the country, but we have never experienced flies like we did here. We actually made a run to Lowe's to purchase fly strips to try to help with the food, and they did make some difference. This doesn't seem to be a whole-state problem, so we didn't understand it. Again, we do love the seclusion and privacy of this great spot, plus the view and access to the lake from below. We carried inflatable kayaks and SUP down the hill and back up to enjoy a peaceful paddle.

I visit Warrior Creek for the mountain bike trails. These trails along with those down the road are very well built and very well maintained. The sites are generally clean, some are too crowded. The showers are clean, the water is hot.

Beautiful campground in the rugged hills near the lake. Very clean, quiet, yet near many lake activities and close to town. We will certainly be back and hope for the same private campsite.

SITE WAS GOOD WITH A LOT OF SPACE AND LEVEL. EASY ACCESS TO BACKING IN. SPACE BEHIND US WAS REALLY CLOSE AND THE SPACE IN FRONT WAS A GOOD DISTANCE. THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS NO HOST ONSITE AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE A GATE CODE BY EMAIL AS STATED ON NOTICE AT GATE. LUCKLY WE WEREN'T OUT PAST 10PM.

The campground was nice and clean I know you cant do anything about the weather but it was really hot and the flys were so bad. We left the next day there didnt seem any good place to get to the lake from our campsite

I was at the gate at at 2:30 for a 3:00pm check in. No one at the gate, no packet, no map, nothing. (Never saw anyone at the gate even upon checkout. This, not firewood or ice for sale.)Gate was open. I drove in and found my spot. The following morning a very nice Ranger showed up and handed me a parking tag but no other information. The signage in the park was difficult to read and lacking in many places. I ended up having to drive through the entire park until I found the dump station...this park has seen its glory days. New gravel is desperately needed in all sites. Picnic tables need to be power washed as they were covered with mold and grime, and all of the wood landscape lumber surrounding the site was rotting. It was quiet, peaceful, and not crowded. The center of my site was heavily impacted to the point that it looked like gray mud, which was fine as long as it was dry it rained two days overall a good three nights stay

Group site B was perfect zen. We had five families camping together and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Great access to trails and swimming. Perfect 10 in my humble opinion

This is a comfortable, clean campground. It was our first stay, but it definitely will not be the last one!

As some others mention about parks/camping, their experience would be great were it not for large groups of people out being loud, drinking and partying until all hours like it's the first time they've gotten out of the house in years.I left a day early - rain - so did not get to partake in all the trails.Nothing that would keep me from going back though.

Our first time camping here. We enjoyed our stay. We had camped at Fort Hamby and Bandits Roost in the past. Warrior Creek is now our favorite between the three campgrounds.

Very nice and beautiful campground. There ate very few site that have views of the water. Site 32 was relatively level and spacious, however not all sote are level.Only two shower facilities with two flush toilets. Extremely clean. Not close to most camp sites.We would definitely camp here again.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
