Site 26. Fully shaded, very spacious - enough to find a position that did not require leveling. Great tasting water, excellent water pressure and steady, reliable 50 amp power as at all COE parks. Campground is in three sections and roads are not spacious, but access is sufficient for a 40' motorhome with towed vehicle unhooked with some planning and ideally a prior visit in a car; sharp, blind curves, steep hills, but all on smooth roads. Signs face entering traffic only, so read road signs carefully and remember how you got there because the way to other sections on your way out if you need to go to one is not marked.About 7 miles to Wilkesboro with Super Walmart, Lowes and plenty of restaurants. Try Cagney's for home cooking and Cook Out for 40 flavors of milkshakes and low priced combo hot dogs and hamburgers. The Wilkes Heritage Museum has high reviews and if you're lucky, the North Wilkesboro Speedway, which opened in the late 1940s and is a Nascar track might have a race scheduled.
