Great campsite, me and a group of friends went here for a weekend trip to surf the outer banks and we had a great time. The campground is very chill, quiet and clean. It has all the amenities you could really need. There is no hot water in the showers, this was not a problem for us but it may be for others so I'd like to mention it.

Cape Point like all the campgrounds in CHNS, is clean, functional and well maintained. The bathroom and showers were clean and well serviced. Nice experience all around.

Have stayed at Cape Point several times and it is always a great place to stay. We are in a popup camper and always look for a site close to bathroom and shower.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds anywhere . You can hear the ocean surf while you're falling asleep, And see the light of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Campground was well taken care of - bathrooms and showers were in good condition. Map is clearly marked, there's enough space between campsites. There are dumpsters on your way out for your trash. Would definitely return.

We love Cape Point (and the price!)! Water is conveniently located and so is the dump station. Very easy access to the beach and the interdunal trail. 200 spot campground that we have never seen more than 10 other spots occupied, their kids, or gain with all the peace and quiet. We will be back again and again!!

Wonderful. A very underutilized campground.Only issue is poor drainage in wet weather

Lots of available and opened sites with a picnic table. Clean restrooms with cold showers only that werent so bad because it was hot during midday.

Beautiful well-kept campground! Facilities were extremely clean. Tent camp for one night was too brief but just what I hoped for. Peaceful quiet beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to my next visit!

The lighthouse is concealed under scaffolding and no work is being done currently. The beach ocean are closed in much of the area due to a 30 years long problem with oil and chemicals left over from post WW2. If you came to surf the famous break at the old lighthouse area it is closed also. The campground is large and mostly empty. There are deer, geese and bunnies. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The personnel are friendly. It is reccomended that you come to the campground before making your reservation so that you can avoide getting a flooded space. You simply arrive. Pick one out and find someplace where you get a phone signal or wi-fi and make the reservation on the spot. This is my favorite campground by far and I will return again.

Made reservations on phone because of no cell service. The Representative named Blake was exceptional. Went above and beyond to make sure my experience was satisfactory or better! Well done. Will definitely use in the future

We tent camp here every season, its not always perfect and has its challenges but experienced campers can handle it. You just have to be prepared and have the right equipment.

A gem of a campground, only the essentials and an expansive, well maintained lawn with great proximity to several beaches and a bird sanctuary. Always very peaceful there.

We enjoyed this quiet, uncrowded campground near the ocean and lighthouse/museum. The bathrooms have flush toilets and the cold water shower was refreshing. Felt remote, but not far from restaurants and the main road. Loved the beautiful sunrise.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
