This PGE managed campground is a beautiful spot to to camp. The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive to maintaining the campground facilities. The proximity to Timothy Lake is a bonus. Note that this is basic camping - no electric sites , no showers or flush toilets. However the restrooms are well maintained and there is access to good potable water. The forest roads leading to the PGE managed campgrounds (Pine Point, Hood View, Stone Creek, Gone Creek and Oak Fork ) are paved .

I was unaware that RC cars were prohibited there. Camp host informed me, disturbing wildlife

Camp host, female sorry I dont remember her name showed up and leaned on the post as I was backing in. This made me very uncomfortable so I stopped so she could give me run down on rules. I did not appreciate her timing. I was as busy and shes leaning on the post waiting for me to back in. I did not appreciate it!

The campground is quiet and clean. The hosts do a great job of keeping it clean.

Well maintained group site. Bathroom was immaculate. However, there is only one water spigot for the six spread out sites. Carrying water to the farthest site is very inconvenient.

We had such a wonderful week in the East Group site. We had just over 20 people show up and the site was beyond perfect for us even with a two year old...

Best campground and hosts! Vaulted toilets are super clean.
@RebeccaD857325 · Camped on May 30, 2025 at Campsite #14
Site 14 has great access to the beach, toilet close enough and water basically connected. Although kinda barren, the amenities were great and was very flat for our camper van.

I wouldve given it a top five if your fire pit on site 19 wasnt 20 yards away from the picnic table. How ridiculous is that to have your fire pit so far away from where youre sitting? We brought wood but not willing to carry it up the hill to the pit.

We absolutely love the group sites here at Pine Point. We always enjoy our stay there. However, we have noticed that one restroom for a site that holds 36 people is a bit on the small side. Another stall would make this campsite perfect!

So beautiful, right on the lake, well kept with spotless restrooms, easy access to camp host if needed.

Kathty was an excellent camp host who greeted us with a friendly smile while informing us of all the rules and issues of the campground.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
