Very clean campground. Nice and quiet. Probably the cleanest vault toilets I have ever encountered. The camp hosts were constantly on the move making sure everything was clean and stocked!!!

Camp host was fantastic, the campground was clean and well maintained. Felt very private and the access to the lake was very easy

We have been coming here for the last 35 years. I think PGE is taking excellent care of the campgrounds, much better than the forest service did years ago. I love all the hiking, Mt. biking, and road riding in the area. The one thing that really bugs me, is seeing empty reserved sites. Whenever we try to reserve in advance, there are no sites available, yet when we get there, there are lots of empty sites with reserved on them. I wish there were more 1st come 1st serve sites, so that the people that are actually there could camp.

Wonderful campground with views of Mt Hood! We felt super lucky to snag our spot as it was only available for one night and it just so happened to be the night we were passing through. Camp Host was helpful and the neighbors were all super great! Going back another time for sure!

Lovely campground on Timothy Lake. The facilities were phenomenal. And no one mentioned the sump to drain food liquid!! Amazing.

Great, clean campground. The hosts were wonderful! We were in site #18, it's a good site. But was it was hard to get into. We have a 30 foot trailer and the truck was hitting the trees on the other side of the road.

Had an amazing time there, Jason and his wife, two of the hosts, were amazing and super accommodating. They truly made our trip and will be coming back because of their wonderful hospitality.

This is my favorite campground. Always good hosts, always clean facilities. It can be tough to get a reservation, but its always worth it when you do. PGE manages their campgrounds better than any other facilities around!!

Beautifully maintained campground with miles of hiking trails. There were many people boating, paddleboarding and fishing. Campsite #31 has a great view of the lake, but no direct access. It's a double site and offers privacy from neighbors to the left/right of the site. Site #25 has great lake access, but less privacy. Site #16 has an obscured view, and a short pathway to the lake. This site also offers privacy on right/left. Camp hosts are super helpful and pleasant. Reservations fill quickly!

The campground hosts were amazing, they went above and beyond to help me with my reservation. They were some of the best hosts I have had at Gone creek. They kept the bathrooms and grounds very clean and were always on top of things.

We had an absolute blast at Gone Creek. The hosts were so sweet, checked in on us, and were absolutely wonderful. We loved coming to relax and enjoy nature with our doggie.

I love this campground and always have the loveliest times when camping here! This time was no exception. The campground was clean and honestly this was the CLEANEST I have ever seen their bathrooms. Camp hosts at this campground are always great but I have to give major kudos to Heather and Jason. They both were so friendly and they were so lovely to sit and chat with. Can't wait to come back to Gone Creek in a few weeks!

Do not come here! It is terrible! (I don't want this place to get too crowded - it's my favourite.)
@JohnG7676070 · Camped on Jun 9, 2025 at Campsite #10
Just wish generators can start at 7 am instead of 8 am, as most people are up and moving to the lake or fixing breakfast over and open fire.

27 foot trailer fit well in the space. Very clean grounds. We enjoyed our stay

My main plan was to have my wife go with me but things happened. I've been to Gone Creek before and got the best spot for a small boat to be moored. Got there about 3;30pm and started to set up camp. First light I went fishing and set out crawl dad traps. Weather was great. Camp ground was great. Fishing was great. The only thing I forgot was creamer for my coffee.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
