Kid's can't use sidewalk chalk?!!?? Seriously? The rain washes the chalk away every other week or so. Who do you think you are PGE Parks? What an embarrassment to Oregon. Shame on you for spoiling a simple activity for kids. PGE Parks should be ashamed. Maybe you can charge us for breathing fresh air next year? Or better yet, maybe you can charge us for swimming in the lake. I am 50 years old and have been camping at Oak Fork since I was 5. I will never be back.

Very clean, great trails around the lake, friendly camp host and plenty of picnic tables along the water.

The campsite was large with plenty of room for our trailer and a tent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The pit toilet was always clean. We were close to the lake and could easily get to it during the day to swim and at night to watch stars. Probably the most notable item was that the campground was almost silent when quiet hours started. This is quite different from other campgrounds we have stayed at.

The camp host came to my car to check us in as I arrived. This was very welcome and unlike usual experiences elsewhere, where one has to spend time trying to find the host. Tim was friendly, informative, and thorough. The hike-in campsite was an excellent experience. Although the campground was full, both nights were quiet and peaceful. Campers respected the quiet hours. Based on this experience Im eager to return and camp at Oak Fork again.

The campsite was large and immaculate, and the campgrounds were very well kept. Beautiful area with lots of places to spend time by the water.It is windy from 8 am to 8 pm during the summer, so be prepared (and just head down to the water). We would definitely camp here again.Very friendly and helpful camp hosts.

This is my favorite place to camp! The water is warm enough to swim in the summer, the campsites are clean and not too crowded, the home around the lake is amazing

The campground area was kept very clean by the camp hosts. The outdoor vault toilets were probably the cleanest I have ever encountered. The camp hosts also did a great job at coordinating check-ins, answering questions, etc.

The campsite was very clean and well maintained and the hosts were friendly. I had a bit of difficulty leveling my RV due to the tilted drive of the camp site but got everything to work.

If I could give 20 stars I would. My site was large and clean. The vault toilets were always well supplied and kept extremely clean at all times. The hosts were friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. Stars, a beautiful lake for fishing swimming, boating, fishing,, hiking and campfires. The benches and picnic tables along the lake trail was a welcome pause. A plus was talking with hikers who were walking the Pacific Coast Trail. It is one of my most favorite places for over 50 years. I will be back.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
