Lake Harriet was splendid. Very small, quiet camp site with a very friendly and knowledgeable host! While we don't fish, and there was a fly-fishing group on our first full day there that kept it very busy, the site was only 20 minutes away from Timothy Lake and we spent it there at the day use area on the kayaks and SUPs, which was great! The last day the morning was much quieter at Harriet and enjoyed some kayak time out on the lake before heading home. The only real downside was our specific camp site (#8) had an infestation of ants and so we moved our tent to our friend's neighboring camp, which was fortunately large enough to accommodate us. TG.

The campsite was rather small and next to a road. It was very dusty with very little shade. On the other hand, the camp host was extremely nice and the bathrooms were kept very clean. Would I camp here again? The answer would be no

The campground host was great! The campsites and fire pits were trash free and she attended to the rest room several times a day.

We really enjoyed our time at Harriet Lake. The camp host, Marylyn, introduced herself and was very pleasant. We made the mistake of not reserving our spot for 2 nights, and had to pick another spot for our second night - but it is a small camp ground so it was an easy move. The campground is neat and very clean. The grand kids even caught fish and swam in the lake. It does get a little windy in the afternoon but access to the lake is easy with the handicap ramps.

This was the first time to use Space #6. It was so clean. Easy to back our travel trailer into a very level spot . We were entertained by incredible flights by eagles. Three otters surprised us and came incredibly close to us while we fished. Fishing was a bit spotty at times, but the fish we caught were mostly 13 to 14 inches . The quiet morning setting provided us with the very best picture we have ever taken. Yes, we came back with memories. And finally - we greatly enjoyed visiting for the third time this year with your campground host, Marilyn. She is the very best!

Nice area. We stayed in site #8 which is next to the road. Thankfully the road isnt busy and we can hear the peaceful sound of a waterfall across the road. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The lake is for fishing not swimming.

Small, clean camp spot with good (usually) fishing.

Very clean. Very clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Quiet place. Fishing was the worst I had ever experienced at Lake H. No one caught a fish: my group, other campers, other visitors. Zilch.

Had a great time, glad fires werent banned this year. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boarding, wading in the water, & polar-plunging off the dock. The lake was incredibly crowded Saturday, but otherwise pretty quiet Sunday-Monday. Saw eagles and otters. Bathrooms were super clean.

Lake Harriet may not look like much without nearby hiking or non-water recreational options but it's a great campground. The outhouse was hands down the cleanest pit toilet I've ever seen. Like, no joke, I took a picture! Big props to the camp hosts that are keeping that spotless and fragrance-free, if you know what I mean.

Great little campground. Excellent, welcoming, conscientious camp hosts. Especially appreciated really clean bathrooms. Went above and beyond keeping campground and surrounding area picked up

Beautiful location, super clean campsites and toilets, excellent camp hosts, great fishing -- lot of brown trout that they would like to eradicate from the lake.

I am 100% sincere when I say I have never been in a cleaner bathroom in my life, let alone a campsite. The campsite host Warren clearly takes pride in maintaining the site, and his care for the place is contagious. While not the most private of campgrounds, I felt my friends and I were able to still enjoy ourselves to the fullest extent. Its a beautiful area, family friendly, and safe. The 2 and a half hour drive was completely worth it in my opinion. I hope to return in the future.

The camp host, Warren, does an amazing job taking care of the Lake Harriet campground. This was the cleanest camp bathroom I’ve ever had at a camp ground! He actively greets guests, explains rules and is friendly and available. Kareen is also lovely and we saw her working hard to keep the campsites spotless. Everyone is lucky to have these two on the job!

Only drawback is there is almost zero privacy between campsites.. you pretty much crawl out of your tent in the morning and boom there your neighbor is.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
