Nice campground. It does need more and better signage. As I recall, it's about 8 miles from highway 20. Far enough that I gave up, went back, and asked someone to confirm it was the right road. It was.

Really beautiful campground set on the river, lots of space per lot and privacy. We really liked it! Bring bug spray in the summer and be aware theres only dry toilets. Also check out the path to the river, its beautiful with a little beach

Great campground! Tent pad for 2 tents and nearest pit toilets were some of the cleanest pit toilets Ive seen. The boat launch marked on the campground map is how to access the creek, which was a treat! Felt secluded but close to trails, would stay again

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Campsites are spaced a good distance apart. Wonderful car camping experience in a beautiful area. I wish I had more time relaxing there and didn't waste so much time driving around trying to see the park from hwy 20. The campsite is on an area where a ton of beautiful hikes are. The beach at the river was beautiful and my kids loved playing in the sand. The fire pit kinda freaked me out cause it was a half-square, so I was afraid embers would fly out of it. Awesome campsite though, love that it's on national forest land and we can't wait to go back!!

Beautiful campground along the river. There is a path that leads to the river bank. Access to CG is by a short dirt road that is bumpy, rocky, and has quite a few large potholes. Still, we would gladly return.

Beautiful and remote. The campground is well-maintained and there is a lot of space for each campsite. Much more privacy than the average campground. There was no cell-phone coverage if that matters to you - for us that was a plus!

Sites vary in depth. Site#4 was very short; barely got 20 trailer with truck on the site. Campground is 8 miles from highway. Blind curve getting in and out of the campground. Road to Cascade Pass trail is long/narrow/rough.

Beautiful campsite and campground. We had spot #21. Quiet, lovely trees and perfect place to camp before a climb on the Ice Cap. The outhouse was well taken care of and clean.
@BenjaminD24014 · Camped on Jul 3, 2025 at Campsite #12
Quiet campground, no water so make sure to bring your own, also the sites on the river are not for public access to the river/beaches we saw so many folks being completely oblivious to the fact they were walking right through someone's site. There is one path that is quite aways from the day use area parking to access the river. Every year we see people try to turn down the long driveway to the clearly marked site 12 and disturb the campers there. Never book site 12 unless you want to deal with multiple people just driving into/walking into your campsite all hours of the day and night.

Beautiful campground, so much space between sites. Amazing sandy beach by the river. This is the best campground weve experience in WA so far.

We love this campground. Fellow campers were very respectful of the quiet hours and the public access area is lovely. Id recommend bring cash and buying wood from the neighbors as you come through because the host charges double what they charge in town.

Great campground. Large, private sites. River a few steps away and close to great hiking.

Beautiful, peaceful campground with large sites and lots of buffer space between. Best flat, framed tent pads Ive ever seen in a campground. Nice tables and fire pits/rings. Clean, pit toilets well maintained. NO WATER!! So be prepared with your water supply. Also no cell phone service. Amazing old growth trees, beautiful river with crystal clear water. A nice sand beach. Camp host very friendly. Five first come first serve sites that are unreservable. A nice option for a last minute trip.

A beautiful drive into a beautiful campground. It's a well-shaded campground with peeks of peaks through the canopy, but you can seek out the sun by heading toward the river either next to your campsite or a short walk away to the shared rocky beach. Firewood was readily accessible for sale. The firepits were great as was the picnic table. It was a little buggy, but so was every campsite we went to, so pack some bug repellent. A huge shout out to the camp hosts for going above and beyond to include some basic hygiene necessities in the bathrooms like band aids, tampons, and pads - I've never seen that before and it deserves a huge GOLD STAR!

The host is doing a stellar job. The campground was immaculate. And the spots are so private. My favorite campground by far.

Beautiful campsite, super spacious! Unfortunate that it rained on us while we were there but 10/10 would come back.

Honestly, one of the best campgrounds we've been to! Campsites are spread out well to provide privacy, the creek is a short walk away with a large beach, bathrooms were well maintained, and the bugs were not bad at all. We went in early June and had a fantastic time. I would absolutely recommend this campground for families and groups!

Campsites have decent privacy and toilets were clean.

Amazing campground in every aspect
@JayneE6151122 · Camped on May 17, 2024 at Campsite #10
Great spot! It was rainy so the whole campground just had a few people. Restrooms were clean. I booked no.10 because it said it was riverfront, was definitely not, it was across the road from the river with no view. Would for sure come again. Firewood was $10 a bundle here but in town or even down the road locals were selling for $5/bundle. No reception at all. Bring all supplies with you as the town store is expensive and limited.
@AndrewJ9357777 · Camped on May 17, 2024 at Campsite #11
Great campground and site. Nestled in the forest, right on the river with a nice "beach" area. All in all very quiet, which was just what we wanted. Firewood $10 a bundle.
@KirstenMEF3E47 · Camped on Sep 14, 2023 at Campsite #23
This was such a lovely campsite! The bathrooms were super clean, and be sure to checkout the beach along the river. It's a little tricky to find through an over grown area, but it's beautiful! We setup camp and left to hike for the day without any issues.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
