We had 2 sites across from each other. Both sites were clean and well kept. The beach at the river was a hit with my 10 yo grandson. The restrooms were very well maintained -- what a treat that was!!!! Thanks camp host! It was a good place to camp and take day trips out to explore. We almost made it up to the Cascade Pass trailhead. Would have made it if it weren't for the bzillion cars parked on either side of the road. Beautiful place to be! Please do your share to keep the area clean and well maintained. Thanks folks!

Great location near must-do Cascade Pass hike. Adjacent to Cascade River, with several sites backed up to the water. Unfortunately no potable water at the CG, but avaliable at ranger station in Marblemount.

Beautiful old growth campground eight miles down the Cascade Highway. Sites are large and private. Feels remote enough, supplies like ice and stuff are available at one of two different campgrounds where the road splits. When we visited (July 2021) there was a washout at the end of the Cascade Highway road which meant you couldn't get to the hikes that start there (like 23 miles down, sounds like the road is going to be closed for a while starting at around mile 18). So to do anything in the North Cascades you have to drive all the way around to the park proper, which takes about 30-45 minutes or much longer depending upon where you are going. For these reasons, we skipped our second night and lucked out in a spot at the Colonial Creek Campground. However, Marble Creek is absolutely GORGEOUS and I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the area around the camp and the North Cascades proper (it was also over 100 degrees when we visited and it was about 20 degrees cooler at Colonial Creek than Marble Creek, so that was another factor).

Stayed for 2 nights in #18. Camp spots are nicely separated and pretty private. Liked that it had access to sandbar on river and access to Cascade Pass hiking trail. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Gorgeous campsite, easy access to the creek for water, outhouses clean and surprisingly not smelly! Loved how far apart the sites were.
