Beautiful space, everyone was nice and the the weather was perfect!

Very quiet with amazingly clean pit potties. Perhaps not great for kids, just a road in and out with no playground and lots of water to fall into. But a very relaxing spot. No cell phone service for several miles before the campground and a dirt road for the last 5 miles in. Great way to disconnect. Bear resistant trash cans but no bears seen. The sites have nicely leveled, large pads for tents and good enough space for small RVs and trailers.

We enjoyed our stay at Mineral Park Campground. We camped in campsite #1, which is a double site right at the entrance to the East side of the campground. We drove through the west side one day to compare, and the west side seems to receive a lot more sun. The trees are so tall, especially right at site #1, that it would be a warm, sunny day in other parts of the camp, but the rays and warmth wouldn't make their way down into our site. That's not what we came for though, so not a problem, just an observation. Another difference between the two sides of the camp seems to be the proximity of the river that passes through. Site #1 is immediately alongside a strong-flowing section of the river- in fact, it presented a constant roar. It was like having a loud sound machine on 24/7. It was a nice sound, although sometimes we had to sort of yell to each other to be heard. I don't think you can see or hear the river from many of the west side sites. Gorgeous setting and drive out to the campground, specifically the last few miles. I'm married to MacGyver, so we had all of our creature comforts, although it is a 100% rustic campsite (no running water, electricity, etc.). If you like peace and quiet, the sounds of a roaring river and tall, beautiful trees, this is the place for you.

This campsite is amazing, but it's not really a double for RVs as recreation.gov led me to believe. There was enough parking to make it work and it's isolated enough that our only neighbor wasn't too inconvenienced but it was a surprise. That said the park was beautiful, I've never seen a nicer pit toilet, and the nearby hiking was out of this world.

Spent only one night but it is a good campground with a lot of hiking trails around.

Mineral Park was everything we wanted in a camping spot devoid of the sounds of celebratory fireworks! The Cascade River provided the soothing white noise and the huge trees enveloped us like gigantic arms. The campground was very well maintained!

Very private campground which was very nice. Quiet and along the flowing creek/river which made for a peaceful evening. Only negative I have is that there wasnt any toilet paper in any of the restrooms.

Mineral park campsite 001 is a double campsite and turned out to be very nice right next to the river. I used some river water and heated it up to wash my dishes as there is no tap water there. The toilets were in good shape. Pretty nice campground close to the Cascade trailhead.

Nice camping close to the river. I liked how quiet and calm it was. It was easy to find it though offline navigation is needed due to the lack of mobile service.

Clean campground with some great sites. Only wish we weren't there in the rain! Some sites are private, others aren't. Most sites directly along the river have a fence preventing direct access, but there are a couple with a trail down, site 19 being one of them. There was a gravel road on the final stretch out to the campground, maybe 5 - 8 miles. Very pretty setting and remote! Will likely go back again next summer.

Very quiet with clean out toilet restroom. Site was nice with the river noise cancelling out any other sounds from neighbors. We did have a mouse get into the car and eat food so protect your goodies.

Great place to stay for access to Cascade Pass and hikes along Cascade River Road! Sites offer good privacy in the trees and the pit toilet was clean.

Very exposed tiny campsite with no privacy. Worst site in the whole campground.

Beautiful, large, private sites, clean pit toilets, great location. Good we looked up in advance and knew to bring our own water in.

Clean communal potter potty. Very well maintained but yet secluded sites and clear site signage.

Lovely campground and excellent access to Cascade Pass area. Site 9, despite not being directly on the river, was quite elevated above the river sites and had good privacy, nice river noise, and the river could still be seen between the trees. We really enjoyed our time at camp and appreciated the thoughtful caretaking of this campground. Very glad we stayed here.

The road is so bad we turned around about a mile past end of pavement.

Outstanding campground. Very wooded and rustic. By FAR the cleanest pit toliets I have ever had the pleasure of using! They even smell nice!
@LoganS8508710 · Camped on Jul 7, 2023 at Campsite #22
One of my favorite campgrounds. Many of the sites are right on the river so you sleep to the sounds of rushing water rather than someone’s chihuahua that they for some reason decided to bring.

Very clean vault toilets. No running water that I’m aware of so bring your own. All campsites are pretty spaced out too so you won’t have to look at your neighbors and can enjoy the greenery and mountains.

Great location along Cascade River Road, nice for getting to a popular trailhead the next day. Thick trees add to privacy, would stay again!

Weather was great. Campsite was exquisite. No wind. Very quiet, almost no one else was there. River water was extremely high.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
