The grounds are kept clean and staff were very helpful.Only problem we had with this stay were conflicting statements made by hosts on what could be done after hours.

The camp host was very rude and doesnt seem to appreciate kids that want to play outdoors. She needs to find another profession, like maybe prison guard.

I want to say a word of thanks for getting potable water back on site--those were tough summers of wasting a lot of plastic without the well heads. I really enjoyed getting back to pumping water. The website asked me how many cars we would have when I made my online reservation. I registered two. When we got to camp, the host said the tent site could only have one car. The site next to us with an RV had 2 trucks, 1 car, and their RV. One was parked on the grass next to our tent. Camp host said that was fine but we could only have one car. If that is the rule, please fix the registration interview at recreation.gov.

We really enjoy the campground overall and would love to keep coming back, but our recent stay was impacted by the camp hosts approach. We found her interactions with guests to be unnecessarily harsh and at times felt like she was harassing people. While we personally avoided direct conflict, we witnessed and overheard several arguments that made the environment uncomfortable. Unfortunately, our friends have decided not to return because of this issue. We had even been warned about this beforehand, which suggests it may be a recurring problem.Were sharing this feedback because this is truly a great place that should offer a welcoming, positive experience for all visitors. We hope management will look into this matter and consider ways to improve communication and hospitality so that everyone can enjoy their stay to the fullest.

Someone locked the men's bathroom, and we had to walk to another bathroom. No campground host was on duty

In general a good experience. You really need to find a camp host that likes people and has a little charisma. Also you need to put out the No Wake signs at the dock. Ill book again next year.

I left 3 days early due to complete nazis for campground hosts. They harrassed my wife because I have PTSD and do not sleep at night. I go fishing until midnight and leave the site at 5 am to have breakfast in town. since the nazis didn't see my truck they Ass-u-me I wasn't there. What do you care...I paid for my spot and my camper didn't move? Glad to see people care about veterans.

Campground location is nice. The host trys to run it like a boot camp and rude to people paying to stay at the campground. Will definitely be looking at other campgrounds to stay at so let because of the host.

Our stay at Devil's Elbow Campground was spectacular. It was quiet and well maintained. The walking path around the campsite was perfect for morning and evening strolls with great views of the lake and local wildlife.

I throughly enjoyed our stay at Devils Elbow Campground. The #24 site easily accommodated our 5th wheel and tow vehicle with enough room for another vehicle as well. The views of the river and surrounding are wonderful. The is lots of room between campsites so it does not feel cramped. We found water spigots in each loop near the vault toilets. Cell service was marginal at the site with 1 bar most times, occasionally 2 bars and sometimes no cell service at all. Texting and cell calls were available most times but internet connectability very unreliable. By driving to Lakeside we were able to get internet service without any problem. There is a pay phone at the entrance to the campground, I didn't know they even existed anymore. The boat launch, docks and trailer parking is top notch. There is no electricity or dump station in the campground which are the only drawbacks IMO. There is a pay dump site at the general store in Lakeside if you get into a bind. This campground has become a personal favorite of mine and I intend on returning in the future. If they would put in electricity for A/C it would be heaven since it can get brutally hot inside a camper in the non shaded campsites.

Really enjoyed our stay. But the last day on a Friday, someone STOLE our Water Floating Pad, in the swimming area. We shared it with everyone . It was Blue and Green.

The campground is very clean and the sites are roomy.The camp host was very friendly.We enjoyed the paved path.We did have noisy neighbors Saturday night until 1:30 in the morning. We asked the host about it on Sunday and she said it was not her night to do the after 10 pm check.At 1:30 am on Monday a diesel pickup truck(no camper) pulled into the empty campsite next to us and proceeded to let his truck idle until 6:30 am.The only negative for this trip was reading the large sign when you enter the campground that states mandatory quiet time will be enforced and clearly it was not.

The campground was beautiful and clean. The walking paths were great and made walking around safe and enjoyable. The boat launch and boat slips made it easy to have our boat with us.

Great campground, but generators are out of control. It would be nice if quiet hours started earlier and ended later.

Please get the lights around the campground operational. It is major safety issue especially at night.

The campsite and everything related to camping was great. We were there for opening weekend and while there was supposed to be a no wake zone by the docks there was not (apparently they had not marked it yet for the season). Multiple kids left unsupervised in wake board boats and jet skis doing their thing right in front of the docks. They were doing donuts and everything right by the dock while our boat was tied up. We mentioned it to the camp host and was told theres nothing I can do. Adding insult to injury we walked our dogs down to a beach and were promptly told to leave by the same camp host because it wasnt a off leash dog beach. Well thats all fine and well except that wasnt designated as such either so there was no way to know that. Yet she monitors the beach but not the massive amount of negligence happening in front of the docks. Underage kids drinking and acting like total as*holes and causing a huge ruckus and making the whole situation almost unbearable. Makes zero sense.

The sites are clean an mostly level. However, for the price there should have been at least a source of potable water and a dump station.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
