Court Sheriff Campground in Lewis and Clark County is located just 29 min east of Helena, MT with an elevation of 3,827 feet. There are a total of 47 campsites including 4 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to mid September. 41 sites can accommodate RVs between 30 and 100 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Fees range from $15.00 to $30.00. Some amenities include swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Awesome camp at the top of the lake. Excellent for kids because the inlets are quiet and shallow in parts. Lots of areas to explore and throw rocks and play. Nice large spots, clean. Smaller trees so not a ton of shade, but overall, a wonderful place

We camped at campsite 05 and the bathrooms made camping there difficult because it smelled so bad. I was supposed to camp at 07 but some party group had the whole end reserved and had vehicles parked in my campsite. Not a great experience overall. The lake was nice.

It was a beautiful campground. It was well maintained and the toilets were clean and well stocked. The staff was so kind. We'll definitely be coming back.

I was very excited to get spot number 38 but when I arrived, someone was already set up in that spot. It turned out we had both been booked in the same spot. I was not offered a refund but was offered spot number 10 which doesnt having a camping spot but does have a fire pit and picnic table. I declined in the end but the camp host of the evening was very polite and apologized numerous times. I dont blame him but am frustrated that the spot I had booked was double booked through the website.

Camp ground is nice. However, do to the cost to cancel most people just do not cancel which leaves the campground with a number of empty spaces. I counted 7 empty spots yet site shows nothing open. That should be considered

The campground was an extremely good condition. The facilities were clean. And the camp host was amazing. Its a beautiful place. Its quiet, I never planned to camp there, I thought it was closer to somewhere else. But I stayed there three nights anyway loved it.

First time camping at Court Sheriff and loved it. Slightly bothered by the rattle snake warning signs but I know those can be anywhere. My grandson had a blast catching frogs and tadpoles and even a crawdad. Camp host and his wife were super friendly too!

Very nice, quiet campground. Paved fairly level spots, good sized spots, very nice picnic tables, and fire rings, clean bathroom facilities. Very nice comfortable camping area.
