Old Highway 86 Campground in Stone County is located 1 hr 9 min south of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 914 feet. There are a total of 78 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of April to the end of October. 77 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 34 and 80 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 77 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $25.00 to $50.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

This was our first time at Old 86 and we will be back. Site 25 is very spacious and has amazing views of the lake. The park was well maintained and every employee we met was terrific. I cannot fault anything.

The campground is very nice, campsites are spaced out. The bathroom facilities are so clean and well stocked its ridiculous !! The campsite was also clean, no trash.

This is an excellent park to stay at. All the spots have wonderful views. The check in staff are extremely friendly as are the park rangers. Can't wait to camp here again.

This is a lovely quiet park with three sided lake access. It is very peaceful and has excellent lake access.

I have been going to this facility for over 35 years and it has been great nothing else like it on the lake. But after this year I don't think we will be going back. You'd expect some good changes or upgrades over the years but the grounds are horribly maintained now, the bathrooms ever single one gets more disgusting every year, I don't need fancy but my goodness you'd think with it being a packed campground they'd have a little money put away to make some upgrades every 5 to 10 years. The park rangers this year were even more annoying walking around with flashlights shining them onto sites all hours of the night. I would love to go back but they need to put a little money back into this campground.

AMAZING is the best word to describe the campground and host and crew here! Even the other campers! Everyone was friendly and nice. It's quite and beautiful. Host were helpful and very nice. We will most definitely be back!

Its a Beautiful campground, with a view from every camp sight of Table Rock lake. Close enough to Branson, if you wanted to go into town. Great camp hosts, extremely friendly people, its our go to place,

We had our three grandkids with us and really enjoyed the playground, swimming area and roads for riding bicycles. The boat ramp is really close too.The bathrooms and shower house we kept clean and fresh which is much appreciated. The cleaning lady was STELLAR and very friendly.Also appreciate the camp hosts dropping by and giving frisbees to the kids.Also had help from the park ranger and maintenance man for low hanging limb removal!Love this place

15 campsites were damaged in a spring flood. Much too slow getting them repaired not until middle of August. Also grass was 1 foot high and nobody was mowing.

Camp hosts Dauna and Ken were very friendly and helpful in answering questions and providing guidance regarding the rules and regulations while staying in the campground. Bobby does an excellent job cleaning the campsites and the bathrooms. Recommend taking a ride on the Showboat Branson Belle. The dinner and entertainment were an excellent experience. We plan to go on the Showboat again the next time we camp.

Lovely park! Enjoyed the view of the lake and the swimming. Very nice, clean restrooms, although very hot (needs fans!!) Nice swim beach and playground/ sand volleyball court.

Old 86 highway campground Site 54Next to the flush toilets which are very clean. Blacktop drive back in used 1 2x4 to level 50 amp with water. Plenty of room. This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Hard to get into. Phone service showed as Verizon 5g Speed test was 300mb

We like camping at Old 86 however if you dont book months in advance you wont get a spot. That is fine but is so frustrating when every weekend there are at least three empty spots. I wish we could go back to having at least two spots that are first come first serve. I also wish people would call and cancel if they cant make their reservation. Im not sure what the answer is but there has to be a better way.

The best COE campsite and probably the best campsite in Branson area for Campers. Extremely clean restrooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful without being in your business. Location across the bay from Silver Dollar City is great. You cannot beat the views or locations. It is definitely in the top 1%.

My wife and I recently bought a pop-up camper and came to Old Highway 86 as a trial run to test out the new camper. The camp and staff were great. Kids had fun swimming in the lake but I dont recommend the designated swimming area, one of my kids had multiple leaches attached to them after jumping in. Never had an issue in the open water. Overall its a great spot and we recommend it. Clean sites, clean showers, clean bathrooms. Just make sure to find a shaded spot if camping when its hot, we picked a spot later in the day and didnt have much shade the next few days.
