It was beautiful. I would have rated it excellent if it had sewer hookup. If camping in the fall, get a spot facing the S. side of the lake. The wind off of the lake on the N. side can be real chilly. I would recommend Bob Evans in Branson for quality food, service & price. We also enjoyed taking the golf cart tour at the Top of the Rock. The views, water falls, covered bridge and cave were so interesting and a lot of photo opportunities. I would suggest booking tickets as early as possible. If you purchase them there the day you go, they are much higher.

Loved the site (25 and 26. Long story!) Table Rock Lake was beautiful! Close to Branson (well worth the trip!) Be sure and see shows in Branson (anything at Sight and Sound Theater and The Haygoods!) Take the time to eat at College of the Ozarks. Exceptional!

Clean, quiet, right on the lake, and well maintained. Mostly level sites.

The ladies in the check in booth were super friendly and helpful. Every other camper we came in contact with was friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. Every site has a water view. Old 86 is one of our favorite places. Even though it's quite full most of the time, it's a quiet campground. Can't wait to go back!

We only spent one night at Old Hwy 86 campground, and regretted not staying longer. We will definitely be back. We had a lakeside site, and the views were amazing with easy access to the lake. The campground was well managed with nice campsites and clean restrooms and showers. We have recommended it to several friends already.

This is a great campground! Views of the lake make this the perfect spot. Campground is extremely clean and well kept. Hosts are very helpful and friendly.

This was our first time staying here. The sites were nice, but campground attendant Debbie was very rude and unhelpful. It makes all the difference when you have a employee that actually is there to help the customers. Debbie made us feel like we were not good enough because we were in a tent and not an RV. Quite frankly, several sites were open and she put us on a horrible site for a tent that We slept sideways. Then she had the audacity to ride her golf cart down to our site (where she put us) and tell us that we had our tent on the wrong piece of grass, when that was the only piece of grass at that site! Debbie needs to retire she made are whole experience horrible.

Site was spacious and clean. Great view of the lake with beautiful sunsets. The public restroom and shower area were well kept and spot clean. The beach area during our stay was underwater, so we utilized the path from our camp site to the lake. The path was steep and rocky, I wouldn't recomend this for small children unless being held by an adult, in addition there isn't very much shore line for a good kids play area. Overall I highly recomend this campground: the area is secluded with mature trees, the lake is large and not overrun with loud speed boats and it's a short drive to Hollister and Branson.

only complaint is they do not furnish bags to clean up pet waste.
