Bucksaw Campground in Henry County is located 1 hr 20 min southeast of Lee's Summit, MO with an elevation of 759 feet. There are a total of 152 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid April to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 40 and 87 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 83 sites have electric and water hookups. 52 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $15.00 to $30.00. Some amenities include shower, laundry facility, playground, swimming, marina, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

Bucksaw is a great place to stay but wish there were more full hookups and wish the check in/out times were different. Maybe 3pm instead of 6pm!!!!!!

We love camping here the park attendants are so nice. Always explain what to expect if there is a weather emergency. So helpful the park is clean the facilities are clean. It is a great place to camp and enjoy nature and the lake. We are return campers for the last 2years and plan to keep returning until we cant drive or pull the camper anymore.

We enjoy camping at Bucksaw. The bathrooms are kept clean and the grounds themselves are well maintained. There are usually pleanty of sites to choose from. We like the C-loop because it has full hookups, but if we are only staying a few days we will go to B-Loop because of the view of the lake and the bluffs. They are beautiful at sunset. The only drawback is there is only water and electricity there. We go there 3 or 4 times a year and I would recommend it. My only complaint is no full hookups in B- or A-loops. Please put in sewer hook-ups.

We love visiting this area. We had 2 11 year old grandchildren with us and they had a blast. The area was clean the neighboring campers were very respectful and friendly. We always look forward to visiting this resort.

The park is nice is was a holiday weekend and the women bathroom was horrible. Someone threw up in the sink,trash all over the floor,the toilets were nasty.

I really like this camping spot! I loved being close to the water and having bathrooms close enough to our site. The camp hosts were really great too. Id definitely go back

Definitely the best park on Truman lake. It's very clean and has the best lake view of all the state campgrounds.

Bucksaw is a great place to spend 1 night or a whole week. The camp hosts are great to help if any problems arise. grounds are kept clean and mowed. Seems like visiting family when you go.

Spacious sites , close to boat ramp, current campground booth host are excellent. Previous host was the reason for us not wanting to attend Bucksaw in the past, Unruly people to say the least.
