Staff was friendly, spaces large and spread out so you are not in your neighbors space. Family friendly, and pet friendly. Swimming beach and beautiful trail to walk on. All areas have bathrooms and there is a place to do laundry and shower. All spaces have a large metal picnic table and fire ring.

Awesome campground. Been going there for 40 years. I just wish they would reopen some campsites that was closed several years ago.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, Beach was closed but that was not a problem for us. The park attendants were very helpful with letting us know what to do if we had bad weather

The sites were full hookup and near the water. Nice amenities, restrooms and fire pits. The only issue is the site got pretty muddy when it rained.

A very nice and clean park. The attendants were very helpful, professional and friendly. excellent place to camp. We did not use the beach, but it looked like a good place to swim. We were very pleased with the camp sites they were not on top of each other, and we had privacy. most defiantly will stay there again.

Only thing missing is shower houses on each loop with laundry facilities.

Nice double-wide spots in C-loop leave room for an RV with slides plus room to lounge using picnic table, lantern hook, and fire pit.We were in two sites for our camping duration, and both were out-of-level enough to require three-high leveling blocks. Motorhomes in our group had similar leveling issues that required blocks underneath their leveling posts so their auto level system would work.Campground bathrooms are OK, but are dated enough you can't tell if they're dirty or just old.Regardless of the issues mentioned, I'll still drive from out of state to camp here.

A wonderful (and very inexpensive) place to stay! Despite a couple of rainy days, our site remained good and clean. Lots of shade throughout the camp. The camp staff was very kind and helpful. A lovely place to be if you love to fish and enjoy water sports! We'll be back!

We always enjoy our time spent at Bucksaw and this occasion was no different. The park is well maintained and the restrooms are very clean. We already have reservations to come back next week and are very much looking forward to it.

During the week was good but the weekend was like taking vacation at Animal House. Loud rude people that walked down the middle of the road and got mad because you wanted to drive past. People and kids going to the beach that walked through your camping area I mean like right between our chairs then you have the kids riding electric motocross bikes in the grass by the beach. So in no hurry to ever go back to Bucksaw.

Bucksaw has been our family place to go for over 35 years. A lot of memories. Hated to see some camp spots overgrown with weeds. Love Bucksaw Camp Sites

We were in site B041. It was an excellent site. Great views of the lake and close to the swim beach. We have AT&T and had decent service. We toured loop A and Loop C decided those loops seemed old and run down, probably would not want to in those. Howe, loop B was great. That is where you want to be. All the sites in B looked like they would be great. Plenty of room between each site except there were a couple that were right together and would be great for a couple of families who are camping together. Bathrooms were decent. Very friendly site host. We will definitely be planning more stays here but only if we can get in loop B.

Even though Bucksaw was packed with people for the Labor Day weekend, it was clean and quiet. Everyone was clearly having a great time, with large groups circling picnic tables and campfires, and all behaved fairly respectfully and were quiet. Rangers and camp hosts were regularly present and responsive.There is an old campground area connected to the A loop that makes a good sized area for running walking. The roads are also quiet enough to have an early morning run through all of the loops.We had a wonderful time and were there for 3 nights.

Nice camp area- facilities are getting kinda worn down though. All of the shower heads were limed up, not one had a good spray, they all mostly just poured. And no control of temperature.... so not a very good shower experience. (It may be that I'm picky- a good shower is really important to me!)

The camp hosts were absolutely wonderful. The camp ground was clean and we messed up when we reserved our spot and they were accommodating and helpful. Most definitely a place to return to!!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
