Very nice campground with some caveats: Once again, laundry rooms are locked for the use of staff only. This is our third occurrence of this with Mississippi ACOE campgrounds.This campground only one shower building.We picked up a significant amount of (small) litter in our campground. Cigarette buts, zip tie cut-offs, etc.

This use to be our favorite place to camp. They always kept everything nice and all the grass cut and very neat. The restrooms were always clean.Now it is very unkept. The grass hasnt been cut. The restrooms need attention. They need to be updated We had a big limb fall on our camper from a rotten tree that cost us $200 to fix. They should cut the dead trees away. Please make this place like it use to be so we can enjoy it again.

The ticks are bad right now I was bit 3 times in a few days. The water is hot at around 87 degrees. The fishing is slow from the hot water. The camp sites are in good shape. Thunderstorms every evening. There were a lot of young kids throwing rocks so be aware of that.

The grounds could be cleaned up a lot better. The ants are terrible invaded our camper the last two times we were there. The rest is pretty good the camp sites are good you just need to clean them up a little. We will be back many more times just need some ant spray LOL.

We arrived after heavy rains & our reserved site had standing water. A staff member was very nice & helpful getting us another site. It is a very low lying campground. Beware of the pit toilets. They are poorly maintained, doors either dont shut or lock

it was ok.

The park was nice. Our site backed up to the lake. Plenty of space between sites. There is not much in the area to do. So unless you are into fishing there is not much else around. Smaller narrow roads outside of campground.

This is a beautiful COE park. We originally booked site 37, but I had read the good sites are first come first served. So I asked whether there were any still available when we checked in. The host said site 39 in the only FCFS site still available. It was a good thing because we probably could have fit in 37 but I don't know if we could have got our 38 foot 5th wheel backed in. Site 39 was MUCH better. We were there mid-March, and there were still quite a few open sites. Can't review the bathrooms because we did not use them. I used the tank cart to drain ( the dump station was a good 1/2 mile from our site). We did not want to pull the RV into the dump station because it was up a pretty steep hill.Many campers had boats and were catching Crappie. There is a Piggly Wiggly in Collinsville, just to the north and a Winn Dixie and Walmart in Meridian to the south. We went to the Steam Engine museum in Meridian. It was small but very good.

Public mens toilet had no paper and one of the toilets was stopped up all week and washer dryer were out of order all week. I was very pleased with everything else all week.

Our second time to camp here. Both occasions were the same site and we love that it is right on the waterfront but there are many waterfront sites to choose from. We find Twiltely Branch is located at a halfway point for many of our travels and it's location makes it an easy overnight spot till we continue our trip. Lake looks good and I bet the fishing is great.

We were harshly scolded by the host for not stopping to check in when we arrived. Told we had to move from the site we had reserved because there was no water at the site even though we said we didnt need water. We felt we were retaliated against for not checking in and were made to move to a site that wasnt what we would have reserved. We canceled our return reservation. Showering in the shower house was a freezing experience.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
