Gull Lake Rec Area in Crow Wing County is located 1 hr 17 min north of St. Cloud, MN with an elevation of 1,209 feet. There are a total of 43 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to mid October. 40 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 53 and 122 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 1 site has electric and water hookups. 40 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $28.00 to $40.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

The campground was great, taken care of and very nice overall. Bathrooms were very clean! We didnt love the emergency light right outside of our site 14 that stayed on all night, was shining right in our eyes while we sat outside at night. It was also terribly buggy compared to other campgrounds weve stayed at. Overall we had a great time being so close to Gull Lake and many fun restaurants. We will be back!

Large, shaded lots with fire pit and picnic tables. Level gravel. Super clean grounds, vault toilets and shower house. Friendly staff. Other than the mosquitoes we have no complaints. We are going back next year for a week.

The campground is comfortable and has large sites. Very impressed with the hosts that made sure we were safe when the tornado sirens went off at 2:00 in the morning.

The park was very clean and the staff friendly. Getting into the site was easy as each site is angled to give easy access. This was our first stay at Gull Dam Recreational Area and we will definitely return.

We enjoyed the park because it was so quiet and peaceful for the most part. The people were friendly. The bathrooms/showers were clean.

Nothing wrong with the campground. They are building a new road right behind the campground. Heavy equipment going from 6 am until 7 pm. They should post that on the website. Constant beeping by skid steers, trucks hauling dirt is not relaxing. Should of stayed home. The campground should be closed until they finish the road.

Per usual, our time at the Gull Lake Recreation was excellent! Having firewood delivered to our site, visiting with the host, always a clean site. Sites are nicely spread out with some nice tree coverage for privacy. We Love it there! We also took advantage of the bike trail! So nice to have that access and not worry about traffic on busy roads!

The rangers and volunteers do a wonderful job with keeping the park clean!! The volunteers came around often and were very friendly -enjoyed talking with them. Love the firewood delivery to your site!!!

Pretty well-kept campground that is located in a forested area but conveneiently located to mid size cities for restocking groceries and getting fuel. Park staff and camp hosts have done a great job maintaining and monitoring the campground. The park provides you with an info sheet with a phone number to text them with any problems. Unfortuantely, we had to use it regarding a large group of noisy people that were next to us. Camp host responded immediately and the group toned it down. Park Ranger Brian followed up with us the next day regarding the incident.
