Cross Lake Rec Area in Crow Wing County is located 1 hr 41 min north of St. Cloud, MN with an elevation of 1,232 feet. There are a total of 122 campsites including 6 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of May to mid October. 116 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 22 and 100 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 12 sites have electric and water hookups. 86 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $22.00 to $36.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, floating sports.

To many trees lining the roads which makes it very hard to back into alot of your sights. Cut some of them down and get rid of the stumps along the roads also.

Ive been camping at Crosslake since I was 2 weeks old. Ive always had a wonderful experience with this Campground. The staff is hard working and caring about the people. Its wonderful that you can enjoy the experience with your family and friends and feel safe and the campground is always clean and well taken care of. We love the fishing dock, paved areas for biking and the sites that each offer tree cover for privacy and shade. We also love the fact that we are so close to the store & ice cream that we dont need to miss out on our vacation if we want to make a quick run. Thank you to all the caring individuals who serve the Crosslake Recreation Area. We appreciate you!

Very clean, mostly quiet when expected to be (one group a good ways from us was up late and loud, but it was music and laughter, so it wasnt a nuisance by any means).The most pleasantly impressive thing was the bug control for staying on a site right at the lake and closest to the fish cleaning house, none of the 3 in my party used any kind of bug repellent nor did any of us get a single bug bite, and there were very, VERY few flies, bees, etc. that visited us.The only thing that I would not mind seeing changed is the time to buy firewood. The purchase window is only 2 hours, and it is a rather inconvenient timeframe of 5 PM - 7 PM. This doesnt need to end anyones world or ruin a good time, but its good to know to plan accordingly!

The park was fabulous - little to no bugs, very smooth in and out - Very reasonable priced - thank you for that! Shower and restrooms were very nice!

Love this campground - will camp here everyday of the year if I could. I wish they would monitor speed more- people fly through like its a race track. Also wish they would not allow other people to have loud music after 8pm. Always someone who ruins it for wveyone

We always enjoy our stay at the campground. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The campground itself is always clean. Our fellow campers are loving it their as much as we do and you can tell by how happy and friendly everyone is.

Since the campground is located on the Whitefish Chain, having a boat is strongly recommended. The lakes are beautiful. The town is nearby so very accessible by walking or biking.

We were walking on the dock and saw the sign for the International Loon Center's pontoon tour of the lake. We signed up for the next trip for Saturday morning. It was delightful! We saw several loons and their chicks! The campsite was lovely amidst the tall pines. And so close to the town of Cross Lake! The Pine Tree gift shop and restaurant were just great as was the Lake Country Cones and gift shop. Highly recommend this campground. We tried fishing below the dam but didn't catch anything.
