Such a beautiful park! We docked with our pontoon for a picnic lunch. The grandchildren played in the fun, new playground. The campsite was lush and private. My five year old grandson caught a sunfish on the lakeside of the dam and my four year old grandson caught one on the river on the other side of the dam. Memories were made!

This campground is very clean! They have a nice little beach area and plenty of spots to fish. We caught a bunch of fish off the dock including a 2.5 pound large mouth bass. Very cool experience for the kids!

The volunteers do a Wonderful job of keeping this park pristine!! The park rangers are very friendly and helpful. This park has so many amenities, including all those offered by the town itself! We love this park and have been coming each summer for nearly 50 years!!

Great camping, just wish there would be more Rangers to keep an eye on people fishing on the new floating docks that clearly state - NO FISHING....but we always have a great time camping.

We look forward to spending time, each summer at the Crosslake Recreation area. The staff/volunteers are always friendly. They keep the park and its buildings neat and clean. There is always something new to see or do in the Crosslake area.

One of our favorite parks. The exterior non electric sites are very roomy and offer a semi-lake view. Great swimming beach and boat landing. The White Fish Chain of Lakes are beautiful. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance. Great bike baths but are inner city.

The staff was very helpful. The facilities were in very good shape. The whole environment was very positive. Crosslake, beyond the boundaries of the COE site is very welcome to its visitors.

Great campground close to town with clean amenities and lots of activities. Wonderful views of the lake and dam. Nice walking path. Some sites can be a little close to others but all in all its a nice layout and most patrons are respectful of the rules and others privacy.

A very nice park. We stayed earlier this year on the older (?) side in a double site: a story for another time. When we went to check in, the hosts thought our site might not work for slide outs on both sides, so they suggested we might change to the site next to them. I tried to call the number to change the site, but the message said there would be a 65 minute wait to speak with someone. One of the hosts drove me to the ranger station where the ranger on duty (Shawn) was able to switch our site in minutes. In hind site, there were other sites open that I would have chosen, but we did not know what was open at the time. The hosts were awesome making a suggestion we take our map and circle sites that might be more to our liking and fit our needs better in the future. Bonus for the site we got, it had a water hookup. The only 2 negatives were the signage for the north entrance and the dump station on that side of the campground. We missed the sign and ended up driving many miles to find a good place to turn around. The dump station on the northern campground only had a water tank, so it wasnt optimal to rinse out our black tank. Next time we will go to the south campground to dump. Will we return? YES!

It was very nice and quiet with our dog too! The facilities are good with the back bath house which is newer than the older front bath house which needs updating really bad! Camp grounds are well maintained and the dump stations are great to use before you leave!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
