We camp here every year and the facilities are great and the camp hosts and park rangers are all excellent!

We lucked out and got one of the few FHU campsites on short notice. Beautiful campground. Close enough to visit the lake cities of Walker and Bemidji and the Mississippi headwaters, all of which we did in a one day circle roadtrip.

Facilities were excellent. Service was exceptional. Been out on the west coast for 30 years and forgot how important a good bug spray to protect from those nasty mosquito and deer fly populations are. Really appreciated the laundry room - that was clean, neat and easy to operate machines. A wonderful stay.

Large campground with a lot if trees, many pines, and spaces are well separated. Clean and well kept campground, friendly staff. Unfortunately we did not use showers because of heavy mosquitoes. Potable water was not readily available and mosquitoes were thick where they were located. Picturesque by dam and boat landing. Close to Longville, Grand Rapids and Bemidji. There were sites open on the weekend.

The staff was so wonderful. Very helpful. We come here as a family of five siblings with our extended families every year. This campground is kept so nicely. The laundry is a great asset.

Leech Lake Recreation Area is an awesome campground. The sites are widely spaced, treed, and mostly long enough for a 35' RV, creating a great camping experience. The host was extremely helpful, providing bike riding routes and local information. It was especially helpful that there was a small laundry available in camp. We will stay here again.

It was very nice except for the rain which you cannot control. Misquitos always seem to like me. Bring a boat, fishing is always good.

No tents on grass, no swimming areas and rangers making the rounds constantly asking people to move tents. The staff running this place are rude and inconsiderate.

Really loved this campground. Overall a really nice, clean and well maintained campground. The rangers were so nice and helpful when we needed their help. The host was great too. The only issues we had was the public water spigot closest to our site was being used by several campers, dragging 200ft hoses and using it as a full water hookup. Made getting water difficult. Also the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, but it was a very busy holiday weekend. But overall a wonderful campground.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
