We have camped at Federal Dam at least once a year for the last 12 years. For the second year in a row the mosquitos made it impossible to sit on our camp site. Same for our friends in a different site. We will be actively searching for a different campground next year unless something is done to control the mosquito population.

Had a wonderful time at Leech Lake. Only negative is that there was a burn ban, prohibiting campfires.

Great campground. Very well maintained.

Great campground if you like fishing there is a marina right next to the campground. Ok rigs may have issues with some sit due to trees it is Manageable but may be a bit frustrating to get I your spot.
