We enjoyed our time there. Small nice clean spacious lots. Great camp host. Will definitely go back. We stayed at site #24 in a 34 foot toy hauler and had plenty of space.

The host was very knowledgeable about the sites and even told us where to expect the sun rises/sets.

What a beautiful, peaceful and well-constructed campground! It was a wonderful surprise to find it not far from the highway as we passed through the area. We may drive back from Florida just to stay longer!

As always, Eureka campground was amazing. I almost hate to say how good. It is hard enough to get in as it is. Well maintained. The campground host are amazing. I have nothing negative to say.

Campsite was beautiful and spacious with views of the river. The staff/hosts were friendly and helpful. The only cons - very little privacy between sites, and as others have noted, the roads in, out, and around the campgrounds are incredibly narrow. We have a small 19 foot camper & it was stressful even for us.

We checked in on 6/15. We had site 15. There were two big mud holes at the front of the site. I was told twice that gravel would be brought in and cover the mud and water. We left on 6/20, still no gravel. We had rain during the week , our site was under water several times. Water standing in the mud holes. This was our first experience at this campground, very dissatisfied.

We love Eureka for trips with our grandchildren and also for just the two of us. The beach is well maintained and the playground is fun. We love to just take a walk around the area with our grandkids or ride our electric bikes when it is just us two. (Too many hills to ride regular bikes). Cant beat the scenery. The campground host have become friends through all the years we have camped here. We make our reservations exactly 6 months before we want to go. It is such a great place its hard to get in. The sites are placed so that it feels like you dont have neighbors. We love it!!!

I hate to rate this only a three, as we love this campground as a whole. If you plan to use this site as a pull-thru, you might want to think again. We were a little over 6" off level at the flattest spot on the site we could find. One of the camp hosts, who were wonderful and went far beyond the call of duty, came by while we were attempting to get level asked if we had extensions for our electricity and water hose, which we did. He suggested that we back into the living area of the site and helped move the picnic table and direct us into place. Later, after setting up, our water hose was a little stretched, so he offered to lend us a 6' hose he had. That was greatly appreciated! Also, when we arrived, it was in the middle of a downpour and the position of the site between a hill and the lake made the entire site flooded. After the rain stopped, most of the water quickly dissipated, leaving a few areas of mud at the front of the site. One last problem with this site is if there is a lot of sun, you'll need to bring some kind of cover, as there is very little natural shade.One of the good things about this site is the view. It's right on the water. It is also right in front of the bath house, so that was really convenient. We'll definitely be coming back to Eureka, but will probably be looking at a different site.

The site was large and near the water. Camp ground was clean and the people at the gate were friendly.

Eureka is are favorite campground for camping at the lake. Grounds are well kept, facilities clean and hosts always friendly. Very quiet and the best water sites.

Beautiful, small but not too crowded before school lets out for summer. Watch for ticks, though.

Great site with a small downhill entrance to the site, but the site is level. We enjoyed watching the otters play on the rocks below us, and the wildlife outside of our campsite. The site is on the water and a very enjoyable campground to visit.

Most sites are level and gravel, all have water/lake views. If you are from out of state and are over 65 you do NOT need a fishing license! Catfish are abundant. No camp store or laundry but the grounds are well maintained. The bath houses could stand to be updated. 2 boat ramps, large picnic area would be perfect for a family gathering and a roped off swimming area. Stores, restaurants and shopping both to the east and west 30 minutes. Kentucky dam village has a nice Buffett on Friday nights.

Suzanne and Arnold are the most Dearest Host,and Hostess we have ever met. Love being on the water. The cleaning crew for the bath house is the best we have ever seen there. Our time spent there was excellent.

If youre looking for a site that is a level and away from a bunch of other campers, but yet can still see the lake and enjoy the quiet and solitude of a campsite, then this one is for you.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
