Very nice location. Good RV sites. We would stay again. The drive there is through a lot of traffic.

It was great as always. We stay several times a year and have never had a problem. Very quite and always clean.

I think that most of the Federal campgrounds, (Forest Service, Corp of Engineers, BLM, etc.) are an excellent value for us retired people. My wife and I stay in them whenever possible.

This was our first time at this camp ground. It will not be our last. We were in the Beach look and loved the size of the sites. There were so many deer to see. The campground was so quiet and peaceful.

Really nice campsite (primitive site 005) and excellent host. We arrived after hours without a reservation; within minutes of reading the instructions at the gate for late arrivals, the campground host came over to help us. He also gave us great advice on the excellent site we had (with a bit of a view of Lake Barkley) and helped us find the site (it would have been hard without his help because it was getting dark).

I used this campground as a quick overnight stop during a recent motorcycle voyage. I was tent camping and the campsite had everything I needed (good picnic table and a flat piece of ground). This site has private bathhouses. I didn't use the bathhouse to shower but I would have without hesitation; it was very clean.

We were here for a week and had to change sites daily due to availability. We stayed in 3 of the loops and all of them are wonderful! The camp hosts, Larry and Cindy, are fantastic! There's a washer and dryer by the bathhouse. The showers have very hot water. The beach views are gorgeous. The barge was fun to watch. There's a very nice playground for the kiddos. A grocery store is a mile away.

Camp host provided after hours assistance in checking in and determining the reserved campsite as I could not put my hands on my printout nor readily access my email after a long day on the road. Very considerate and helpful individual!

Like the campground, but not the parade of golf carts. Some work is needed on the 'primitive' sites - new paving or patching needs to be done. Bath house was clean and water was great.

Very nice. Will go there again!

Primitive camping loop offers many sites that are on multiple levels due to terrain. I had spot 4. I took a camping van I have been converting out on the first outing. The area where I parked the van had about 4 steps up to a level area where tent campers MUST set up tents. Not allowed off this area, then 5 steps from that pad up to an area that had the picnic table and fire ring. It was not horrible, but do not expect a level spot with all amenities together. Up and downs stairs constantly and the stairs are not level. Natural erosion means you need to pay attention. There are several other loops within the campground that have large, level, amenities all together sites that are much better. It was my first time there, so live and learn. FYI . ...Campsite 75 looked best. Hope this helps someone.

Love this campground but it does have faults. Grill on one site is still damaged after reporting it last year. Sites still need gravel and can be somewhat muddy during wet weather. Perhaps doing some work to keep gravel in sites. Good camping but could be great.

Amazing stay! Peacefully with beautiful views of the water from the Hill Loop. These sites are shaded. We enjoyed walking and seeing the wildlife.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
