Canal Campground in Livingston County is located 36 min east of Paducah, KY with an elevation of 379 feet. There are a total of 115 campsites including 2 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the end of March to the end of October. 106 sites can accommodate RVs between 20 and 99 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. 28 sites have electric and water hookups. 87 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $18.00 to $240.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, boat ramp, swimming, restroom, trash dumpster, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Bathrooms were spotless and roomy, campsite was large and had great shade. Wonderful experience.

Smooth Reservation/ Check-in . Beautiful site overlooking Barkley Lake & Dam. Only issue was sewage hookup was positioned to far to the front of the campsite where its not level.

Great place! We stayed there so we could MTB across the bridge to the Land Between Two Lakes loop. It was a great ride to/from campsite. Showers were hot and good pressure. Most definitely will stay again when in the area.

Nice and peaceful campground. We always enjoy our time there. Only negative thing is that the roads need some work.

Camp site was near the Canal so the view was great and campground was clean. Site #113 is a pull through and does not require much to get camper level. Lots of things close by.

Nice campground but the sites and roads could definitely use some work. Half the picnic tables and smaller tables are rotten. Limbs hanging out in roads hitting campers. Roads are in dire need of repair. Money made there is not going back into campground to improve sites or roads.

Site 111 and 112 have zero shade. All the rest are some shade. Canal loop has the least.

I love Canal campground. Its Clean. Its well taken care of. The camp host is very kind and polite. Theres activities to do close to the camp grounds. I love the location. Its a wonderful place to camp.

I always enjoy my trips to COE campgrounds; however, most concerns were due to campers. The mens restrooms had mud tracked into them. I watched another camper take his tote to dump station without a hose and just dump his black water into the trough. Couldnt believe it. Does someone have to be told to use a HOSE!
