The last two times we have stay at Baileys point the grass had not been mowed and the campground did not look as nice as normal. They were doing some mowing while we were there but many places were over 12 tall

Baileys Point is an absolutely gorgeous campground. It saddens me to see it fall into such disrepair. We go there often because our in-laws have a boat stored there. The campsites store has been closed for the past three years. More often than not we have issues with our electric. Imagine coming in from a long day at the lake only to find your power is off. The campsites are becoming overgrown with weeds. Grass is only mowed every 2-3 weeks. Such a shame because it truly is a gem. I can only hope that it will be given the attention it needs and deserves.

Great place to camp. However doing a poor job keeping grounds mowed. Volunteer host are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in site D5, the site is pull through yet you need to pull in backwards. If pulling out there is a small tree that will make getting out tough so we backed out. The site is very shady and pulling in backwards allows for more privacy.

Been camping here for many years and it seems that it has gone down a bit as far as maintenance- for instance only 1 working shower in the mens and womens bathroom in area D- they both are missing shower heads! Also dedicated swimming areas used to be marked as such with signs indicating no boats past this point- what happens is you get the perfect lot in what is a great place to swim only to find several boats parked in your beach area

After major rain and storms in the area, I know everyone worked really hard to get the sites, clean and open. We had a beautiful site where we relaxed and had a perfect view of the lake where we watch sunsets at night.

had a great time even though the lake was way up.

Debri was in our campsite and a tree had fallen blocking the entire view of the water.

Beautiful campsite with absolutely 100% shade. For hot weather camping it was perfect. Our watchdog detected a few power fluctuations and shut down the power about 6 times but with the campground full it wasnt totally unexpected. Everyone was friendly and had an awesome time.

I stayed at E19. The crew had done a great job getting everything ready after the floods. The water was still high so I had a truly lakeside spot! Always love staying at Baileys!

Site was in extreme poor, unsafe condition. The railroad ties where falling in .. spikes of wood from the railroad ties prevented sitting at the picnic table. we cleaned up what we could but feared the wall would cave in. Severely infested with large ant or maybe termites. we spray to no avail. The ants got in our camper,,, The extremely tall grass didn't help. We left EARLY. ACTUALLY, There was 1 thing very good... The employees at the front gate were absolutely wonderful and informative people

Great site if you have a big window at the back of your camper specifically. Close to the water so you can park your boat in the cove and tie it to a tree and walk up to your camping spot. Right by the wash house.

We enjoyed our stay that cut cut short because of the heat but the campground was as good as usual

Very nice and relaxing, clean bathrooms. Host stopped by to chat to add that personal touch. Well come back every year

Great stay, nice camp ground. Parts were unfortunately flooded, but campground did a nice job of roping that off and helping everyone feel safe. Bathrooms could have used a little more attention which is the reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise great stay.

Baileys is our favorite spot to camp in Ky. We love the setting, volunteer hosts are awesome. We absolutely appreciate Mark Smith for helping us with any issue we have. The recent storms have caused problems but they have worked hard to make it a nice campground.

It was nice. Its just that the weather didnt cooperate. It was raining the whole time we were there. Im sure if it wouldnt have been. It wouldve been a really nice day.

Bailey's Point is a great campground in southern Kentucky. This visit was very unusual because of the high water level of Barren River Lake, around 23 above summer pool the week we were there. The campground has 215 sites, but only about 40 were open. Rangers said they were hoping the lake would go down enough that they could the cleanup done to open by 4th July. They not only have the aftermath of the high water to deal with but there are quite a few large trees down from high winds in the area. It's certainly a big job facing them.As far as our experience it was great. First time I've camped in the "A" Loop, but hope it's not the last.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
