The view was beautiful. But the exposed rusted nails and rotting steps were NOT okay nor safe. I had our 3 year old daughter who I had to carry most of the time near the site bc of the rotting railroad ties with exposed rods and nails. Even busted a tire, which cost us $200. Completely unacceptable. I understand that the sites are older, but simple maintenance and making sure all sites are safe should be a requirement. Glad I didnt bring our dog, could have easily stepped on nails also. I almost tripped multiple times going up and down the stairs to the picnic tables bc the steps were half rotted and missing. I understand that over time things wear down, but again, monthly maintenance and making sure there is no extreme deterioration of the site is something that prevent accidents from happening.

Nice lake and campground, but am awful camp site for a camper. Very un-level

We love baileys point! We camp every chance we get during the summer months! We did miss having the camp store open.

The point was quiet and beautiful during the weekdays we were there in late October. Beautiful setting.

Beautiful area, we chose area B because the sites are close to the water. Being able to put in our boat right in front of our campsite was great. But be aware that the road goes between the sites and the water, so when you're looking out at the lake you'll also see every person/dog walking or riding by in front of you. Also be aware that some sites have the campfire/sitting area behind the pull in, so if you pull in the direction the one-way road goes, your camper will be on the wrong side (unless you're able to pull in backwards). Another downside is there are sites directly behind some of the ones close to the lake. The extremely rude and inconsiderate campers behind us left their very bright LED outdoor lights on all night, even after they went to bed. So while we tried to enjoy our campfire we had bright light shining on us which was very annoying and ruined our whole evening. With campsites that close together there really should be a rule about turning off the outdoor lights on RVs after a certain hour. We probably won't go back, would rather find a different campground near a lake.

Campground was amazing as ever, super easy to get checked in and the new store management is super nice and willing to stay open longer! Don't forget to eat at Harper's Catfish!
