The location was great and I loved the lake. Caught a large catfish which we made stew for two days. Campground was clean and it was awesome to have the picnic table. Unfortunately there are restrictions for fires so we were not able to use the fire pit or grill (not the campgrounds fault).

Camp sites are beautiful and well maintained.

We love coming here. Spot 75 is a great area if you're looking for a double site. You get the whole back corner to yourself. Their water spouts were down while we were there but not a big deal. Plenty of amazing hikes and offroad trails in the area. We'll be back.

Still a great spot to camp close to Flagstaff. A bit more lake water would be nice. Seems a bit less laid-back with the new management company. Hosts are friendly enough though.

I hope that the lack of drinking water is solved soon. Luckily we had just enough for our 4-night stay.The hosts were very friendly, and White Horse Lake remains one of my family's favorite campgrounds.

The Campground has been nice in years past but this year it wasn't as pleasant. The sites aren't cleaned up from debris/trash and they are getting overgrown with weeds. Maintenance is definitely getting behind. Toilets were fine overall. In addition, there is no water available. There were always vendors by the lake with some food and activities, but none of those were there this year. We like this campground, hope it isn't going downhill and this was just a off year. Might be a new contractor, that is the rumor we heard up there - if that is the case, I hope that they improve.

No water. Lake was incredibly low. And the snack/ice cream place was no longer there. Somewhat disappointing all around.

Never got my refund, never stayed there. My van broke down and the person at Recreation.gov couldn't cancel the reservation. He just sent a refund request to Kaibab Forest. No one has contacted me, no one has refunded me. It was an emergency that left me camping in a parking lot in Albuquerque for five days. $113 is a lot for me to lose, but I did call to let you guys know what was going on. It's ridiculous I can't cancel anything or get refunds anymore from this website!!! PLEASE! I BEG YOU! SEND ME MY REFUND! No one seems to want to help me with this....

Everything was in good shape and the new camp hosts Courtney and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I did miss the food truck though! Bring them back, please!

This is a great, well-maintained site. Many campsites have nice views of the lake. This site is around 40 miles West of Flagstaff off I-40 towards Los Angeles. We will have to drive through long, unpaved roads. There are two exits on I-40 leading to this site, one closer to Flagstaff and one closer to Williams. The path from Williams has 8 miles of unpaved road. The path from the Flagstaff side has 10 miles of unpaved road.Camp hosts are wonderful, they toured every site at least twice a day and confirmed that guests are ok. The campsite has many dry toilets. Looks like they are working on getting water in the future.

Loved the hosts but the next morning they were gone. Heard some loud voices during the night. Hope all is well. Could not have picked a better campsite. Million dollar view!

Small campgrounds with other campers closer than other campgrounds. Vault bathrooms kept clean.

NO WATER - MAJOR INCONVENIENCEMISS THE SNACK SHACK THATS BEEN THERE EVERY SUMMER - like a store that also sold ice and other essential items along with good food.Restrooms need to be checked/cleaned periodically

Camp space was great however at the time of our visit there was no running water in the campground. Just be prepared and take extra water. Roads getting to the campground were terrible !!! Very hard on a RV !! Lots of washboard road. Beautiful area and great fishing.

The campground is one of the prettiest that we've stayed in. However...the 15 miles of horrible road to get there is destructive to any vehicle. Also, this year there was a problem certifying the public water supply. The nearest water was back in William's. Too bad for such a nice camping experience.

Spacious camp sites with pad for our 21ft toyhauler, tow vehicle, tent pad, picnic table, grill and fire ring. Clean restrooms, thanks to the hosts. Lake was low so the entry was very muddy and a mess. Lost my fin for my paddleboard since it got stuck in the mud. Nice little hiking path around the lake.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
