We stayed in lot 108 and we love it we have the woods to go explore or hike a lot of space and shade, restrooms clean.

We visit this campground 3-4 times a year. In the past the camping sites were cleaned of debris and there was fresh water available. In June when we arrived the campsite had not been cleared and there was still no fresh water available. We bring a good amount of water with us and that usually gets us through but it sure was nice in the past that if we needed a little extra it was available. The campsite had debris scattered all over it and we had to clean up before setting up our trailer. The cost is now higher and if we cant get a clean site and water what is the point of paying to camp when there is an entire forest where the camping is free. I understand there is a new company running the campground and they were the lowest bidder but the previous company had their act together and made sure things were done right. The entire feel of the campground has changed and we are disappointed that our favorite place to camp is going downhill. We have been coming here for several years and hope that it gets back to being normal at some point in the future. If you are heading here make sure to bring plenty of fresh water as we were told it wont be available for some time. We will be going back as we pay for all of our camping trips at the start of the year and we have a reservation in September thats already paid for but our future at white horse lake is questionable.

White Horse Lake is our favorite place to camp. We love the remote location but still close enough to make a trip into town when the need arises. Danny and Lise are great hosts. They take care of the campgrounds, keeping them clean and looking nice. There is a new company running the place and the changes, to me, arent going to be popular. The fee for the night has gone up by two dollars so thats not a big deal but the day use now costs $10 where it use to be free and there are no canoes or kayaks for rent now. Plus the snack bar that has been there is gone. I dont know if these things will be brought back in the future but I hope that is the case. We are going back again in a couple of weeks and hope to enjoy our time in the forest.

The hosts, Dan and Lis, were very friendly and outstanding people. The campground is well maintained and very quiet. Even when its close to full. We went there twice this season and will definitely be going back come spring time.

Great campground, but pricey for the location. Make sure you're ready for some gravel roads, because it's about 15 miles of them to get there.

Apparently, our campsite was near the Loop containing the Group Campsites. Unfortunately, one group did not observe the quiet hours. They played LOUD music past 10 PM and started again in the morning at 630 AM. This was not only a violation of the campsite rules but a complete disrespect to every camper in the nearby loops. I would avoid any campsite that is near the group campsite. The quiet hour rules were clearly not observed. And who wants to go enjoy the great outdoors only to be treated to loud, obnoxious music? If the camp hosts can't enforce the campsite rules, then who? BAD EXPERIENCE.
