The location was great and I loved the lake. Caught a large catfish which we made stew for two days. Campground was clean and it was awesome to have the picnic table. Unfortunately there are restrictions for fires so we were not able to use the fire pit or grill (not the campgrounds fault).

Everything was in good shape and the new camp hosts Courtney and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I did miss the food truck though! Bring them back, please!

Loved the hosts but the next morning they were gone. Heard some loud voices during the night. Hope all is well. Could not have picked a better campsite. Million dollar view!

Campground and lake were absolutely beautiful, as well as very peaceful and serene. Campsite was lakeside and amazing; it included a large tent pad and a large concrete patio area, equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and pedestal barbecue with a hinged lid. There are, however, no hook-ups. Everything was clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms, which were both convenient and pristine. Camp Hosts were friendly and helpful and extremely hard-working. Our grandsons (10 and 12) had plenty of room to run around and explore. Fishing from shore (right by the boat launch) was pretty good; we only fished for a couple of hours, and our grandsons caught 3 fish. We absolutely loved our stay here and definitely plan on coming back. The road in is about 15 miles of unmaintained dirt road. We found that the road from Parks, on the east, is better than the road from Williams, on the west. Although a little inconvenient, the campground is well worth the trouble to get there! Highly recommend!!!

We really liked our camping experience and our campsite, at first. We were there Tuesday thru Friday and the area was calm and quiet. Unfortunately as Thursday night came many campers, all connected in a group taking multiple sites, rolled in and began to party for the weekend. Things became loud and raucous and it went way past quiet time, which is 10:00pm, until 1:00am in the morning. There was no one around, no host, to distribute the campground rules, which might have helped. Campers next to us were shooting BB guns, drinking shots, and were belligerent and drunk. My husband confronted them at midnight stating they were making a lot of noise way beyond quiet time, and they said they could do what they wanted since they rented multiple sites. Needless to say it was a negative and disturbing experience. Luckily we were leaving the next day. We understand this was July 4th weekend, but nonetheless fellow campers need to recognize its not all about them, and be considerate and respectful of the rules and fellow campers!

The area to set up your tent is rather small. I had a 4 man tent and it pretty much filled, almost overfilled the area given. The area itself is beautiful! Unfortunately when I arrived it was just bad timing. There were 45 mph winds and was supposed to get down to 28 or so the next night. I was fine with the temperature but worried I would wake up with my tent blown down. I cant wait to go back when it has better weather. The pit toilet was clean. The grounds were clean. AT&T had some coverage. I was able to text. Fellow campers were quiet and I felt safe there. Ill definitely be back.

The lake is beautiful and there are a lot of people fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding on it. The only issue is that the campsites are really close to each other and there is no natural dividers between them. You see and hear everything in 4 or 5 campsites around you. We had campsite 64 which has a great open view of the lake and two bathrooms nearby.

Sure wish the dirt road was paved. Every year more damage is done to our trailer. We love it once we get there, but debating if it will be worth it every year.
