Cherry Glen Campground in Polk County is located just 10 min west of Ankeny, IA with an elevation of 934 feet. There are a total of 125 campsites including 1 boat site. The campground is normally open from mid April to mid October. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 28 and 93 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. All sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $26.00. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, restroom, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, water skiing, floating sports, disc golf.

We stayed one night in a Rockwood MiniLite. We were in site 12. It was slightly unlevel. We had good t mobile service. Everything else was perfect. It was our second time here. We will return. Thanks!

The campground itself was nice. But listening to the cars rev their engines and peel out in the boat launch parking area ALL NIGHT Saturday night was a real turn off!!! I dont go camping to hear that! I go to the track to hear that! Wont be back as long as that is happening.

I LOVE this campground! I travel for work and perfer to camp when I can. I expect been here maybe 6 times in the last year, all great experiences. While a bit dated, all the bathrooms and buildings are kept clean, all the sites are pretty spacious, hosts are great.I love the lake and boat launch too. Check it out!

Nice park, good facilities, very pretty area-could see the lake at various places. Our site had an extreme slope so our front motorhome tires were off the ground a foot. But otherwise very nice.

Comfort Stations very well maintained. Camp site 103 just a bit challenging backing in uphill with a wash out at the bottom. Overall, we were very happy with the campground and will utilize again.

Had Power portable drill, vise grips :and tool kit stolen out of my storage compartment of my RV. Very unhappy. Have camped for 45 years and have never had anything stolen :-(

This is a very nice family oriented campground that we thoroughly enjoyed. The walking trails were nice with plenty of wildlife to see. Bathrooms were clean and the hosts were very polite.
