peaceful campgrounds with pinyons between sites for privacy, and soothing sounds from the river nearby. super clean bathrooms and sites, well maintained by a friendly staff. looking forward to our next stay!

The campground is nice. Generally giving descent privacy.I did have trouble with my reservation with the campsite I had reserved being taken by someone else. The campsite sign put up on the site started before mine and ended after. I don't know if the campsite host made a mistake and did not see my reservation or not. I was in a different site the night before and pad for that on site. i talked to the camp host 2 times and asked to just exchange it to the new location. Seemed like a problem. I did not want to have my 2 week camping road trip through Montana and Wyoming to be scarred by a hassle over a campsite so I just left.

this was the third time we have camped here. We keep returning to this location due to how nice the sites are. The bathrooms are always clean! The host was wonderful also. Cant wait until next year to return!

French Camp is a lovely campground ! The creek was great to spend time there along with a visit to Rock Creek Lake, Lots of fishing spots, Toms Place for a bite to eat their beef stew was delicious ! Also nearby off roading up in the hills !

The hosts keep a clean and organized camp. I wonder about the strange layouts of most of the sites but that is French Camp. Hard to beat the central location with the 395 just down the hill

I love this area. The only drawback was for my friends in their trailer with the site not quite level enough for them. They had to get a separate site which, luckily was available

The French Camp campground was lovely. The camp host was friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed in the cost, however. $48 for one nights stay! This included CA sales tax. Seriously ? Sales tax on a camping spot??? Dry camping only, 23 foot rv, no pets, two people.

I have been camping at French Camp for over 35 years. The campsites are always clean and easy to access. Perfect place for car camping and especially for bringing new campers. Quick access to Mammoth, Convict and Crowley lakes, Owens river and more. Enjoy!

French camp is a great spot for a home base camp site. This spot is lower altitude than the campsites up the canyon to Rock Creek Lake and Mosquito Flats, so weather and more mild temps make the camping easier. French Camp is close to 395 so it is an easy ride up to Mammoth, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake, and even Mono Lake. If you are an off-roader like me, you will find countless trails to explore in the area. The only negative at French Camp is the proximity to 395 means you will hear traffic noise. Also, check out Tom's Place store and Cafe. Great breakfast!!

We love French Camp. It is well kept, the sites are nice and the country is beautiful. As a bonus, it's at a high enough elevation that it's cooler than anywhere south. It's always our first stop on the 395 coming from SoCal.

We love coming to this campground. Have used it for many years as a base camp for fishing all to surrounding lakes and streams.Sites are always clean along with the restrooms. Only comment, our last site, #68 had the fire ring too close to the picnic table. We could not put chairs all the way around it.

Unique setting in pure pinyon pine with tons of wonderful granite boulders. Restrooms with flush toilets were kept very clean, and the camp host was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hiking and fishing nearby.

A favorite campground for decades.

Camp site 72 should not be listed as an RV site. We made it work but in all my years of camping this was not the site for me. Had to walk over rocks to get in and out of the RV. Bees were out which made eating out side a little challenging.Lights in the bathroom only stayed on for awhile and then went out! Good thing I had my phone with me.I have camped here many times, this was not my best experience

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
