The campground is cool.The campground managers are cool.The campsite I stayed at is cool.THE CRITICISMS:- The water spigot valve packing needs to be serviced. When you press the handle to get water, water sprays up and gets all over you.- The toilet flush valves need serviced/adjusting. At first you're greet with an impressive rush of water, but it quickly dies and the toilet bowl struggles to clear requiring multiple flushes.- Basically all the sink faucet/valves need replaced. All three restroom sinks are not uniform. One of them only provided a trickle of water.Basically, everything I would change could be fixed in a single day.

Been going there for years. We had a great family reunion. Unfortunately, the person in the adjacent campsite to #32 left their trailer there unattended in which a beeping alarm began going off on our last afternoon and night, causing my daughter in law to get a migraine headache. The camp host could do nothing about the problem. Also it would be nice if at some point a shower house could be installed.

The space was extremely difficult to put a 26 foot trailer into. I wasnt capable and a fellow camper helped me! On top of that the rocks made the surface uneven at the only place it could fit even with leveling blocks. Imagine hearing cracking sounds at 2:30 AM in the morning. There was a mouse getting into the Oreos! Being the stealthy hunter I am, I slammed a cd case over the opening and threw the mouse and Oreos out the door. The next morning while sitting on the toilet a mouse ran over my foot! Thank goodness it didnt happen to my wife. If you see one there are many more. Now I get to sharpen my trapping skills. How about cutting down the tree or moving the rocks? Do you think posting there are an abundance of rodents here and to take precautions would have been helpful?

A lot of tree shade, the bathrooms are all clean, easy access to the fresh water tap.

Stayed only two of the three nights booked. This camp was quite noisy during my stay, with generators running and music booming until 10pm. As tent spaces are not separated from RV-compatible spaces, there wasn't much relief from the noise. A car alarm went off twice one night at 2 in the morning, automatic sensor bathroom lights were occasionally not functioning, and site 13, as well as many others I checked out, either do not have adequate space for a larger tent (eg, 6-person) or have boulders embedded in the ground making it challenging to fit a larger tent into the space available. Check online for site photos / reviews before booking a specific camp site. There are several other campgrounds along Rock Creek Road, so I'll be looking to one of those for my next camping trip to this area. Pros: conveniently located to spectacular hiking trails, helpful and friendly camp hosts.

Same friendly excellent camp ground host as last year. Campsite(s) well maintained, plenty of wood provided for campfires in the evening, "no bears" so far. I highly recommend this location for families with kids.

This is such a beautiful spot. The sites are good sized, the bathrooms are clean and there is a stream that runs along the campground which makes for a lovely walk

Beautiful and clean campsite. The hosts were very polite and friendly. It was nice to have portable water and clean flushing toilets. There are no showers tho. It is such an interesting biome, a mixing forest and high dessert plants! There were pines trees and prickly pear cactuses growing in the same area on a sandy and rocky old river bed.

Truly the best paid campsite Ive been to in my life. Grounds were beautiful and clean the bathrooms were SO NICE with a flushing toilet, no party crowds, we had a larger campsite that had. Wonderful fire pit? Picnic table, and massive bear box. I cannot wait to come back!

Great campground as always! The managers were lovely and so helpful. Site 64 is great and has lots of shade. A little tricky fitting two tents but totally doable. Bathrooms were cleaned several times a day and the noise levels weren't a problem at all.

There are nice restrooms, and they are always clean. Water is available near every campsite. The camp I rented was near a creek where we were able to fish from. The area is a few minutes from Rock Creek Lake, a little further is Convict Lake, and Crowley Lake. There are also a few free hot springs nearby.

Love this camp ground. Very clean bathrooms and the host are very very pleasant. IMHO #73 is the best, stayed at this site over the past 5 years. Prefect if you have solar. unobstructed views of the north and south sky for Starlink and dish. Just saying.

Fantastic campgrounds. Very clean flush toilet restrooms, nice creek that runs through the campground and very close to the Gem Lake trailhead. Toms Place down the road doesnt seem to carry firewood so dont waste your time there. Camp host sells it for $9 and Bishop is 20 minutes away for anything else you may need.

We went end of Sep to the start Oct. Weather was not too hot, it was bearable day and night. Campsite is gorgeous and extremely well kept. Cleanest restrooms. Lots of privacy in campsites. Must see, Convict Lake. Under 20min drive. Kayaking is a must, the water is turquoise and the view is breathtaking. Also kayaked Twin Lakes in Mammoth, about 35min away. That lakes view is beautiful but water is very plant filled. Recommend Lake Mary instead. Make sure you have a reservation if you're passing through Yosemite. It'll be a longer way around the mountains.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
