Excellent campsite Clean restrooms, the camp host is excellent, and great cell signal.. I was able to watch Youtube videos while chilling near the fire.

I love this spot. The bathrooms are clean and the camp attendant person was super nice. He even showed us vintage pictures from when he was young and his family had a cabin on the site. This is definitely heaven on earth.

camping sights in the back of the campground were quite and secluded. Like a large cul-de-sac.

First off, Camp Host David Mack elevated our experience at Tuff. Clean campsites and facilities, ample firewood, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is what we experienced during our stay. David had a fun camp host question and answer session with us that included a prize!! And the game was very informative. I cant say enough. The location of Tuff is easy peasy and close to everything Sierra. The campground had trails of its own, and the river runs through it. We had a great time with our friends in our two sites for three nights. This is our third time at Tuff and not our last. Thanks again and thank you David for a great experience! -Carol

David our Camp Host was great. Tuff Campground was pristine, restrooms taken care of daily & Dave was quick with a joke everyday while checking that all was well at camp. His recommendation Tom's Prime Rib was enjoyed and his history of the campground was intriguing. Having firewood available to purchase at the campsite was appreciated. We will return again next year and hope to see David again. Jim & Theresa

One of my favorite campgrounds on 395. Easy access and great fishing. A special thank you to David the camp host for keeping the camp so nice and clean.

Beautiful campground near a creek. Fire pits, bear lockers, picnic tables, and most importantly very clean toilets. David Mac was a wonderful host who went the extra mile to welcome us to our site! Thank you for the hospitality. We will be back when visiting the area

I had a wonderful experience staying at Tuff Campground during my solo birthday adventure to celebrate turning 65. The location was perfectcentrally situated so I could easily rock climb in Mammoth and hike the High Sierras out of Bishop. I also spent time relaxing, meditating, and journaling along the beautiful stream that runs the length of the campground.What made the stay extra special was the camp manager, David Mac. He stopped by shortly after I arrived to welcome mewith great dad jokes, no less! Id never had much luck starting a campfire before, and he was incredibly helpful. He even had a fun science quiz to spark conversations about local nature and geology. That first chat led to many more about the trees and the unique Tuff rock formations. It reminded me of the ranger talks I used to take my children to when we camped together.And the cherry on top? He surprised me with a birthday cake! The whole experience was peaceful, meaningful, and full of thoughtful touches. Ill definitely be back!

Nice and clean campground. Great location as I had an overnight hike plan for Little Lakes Valley. I turned it into a day hike. An excellent hike. Dave the camp host was excellent. Some of the other camps up Rock Creek Road have fewer sites and booked. If you have an easy up shade tent you'll have no worries with any camp site at Tuff.Dave D San Francisco CA.

Great campground close to June Lake and Bishop. Fishing was great in the creek. Clean bathrooms. Site 22 was great for a truck camper.

Campground was nice and clean. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Fishing was not good. Stocking has been reduced significantly at this creek for several years now. It used to be a good fishing spot, but that is no longer the case.

Wonderful creek. Good cell service. Had issue with someone three sites away when I asked him to turn down music. It was not loud, but enough to be heard and get on my nerves. I didn't drive up from San Diego to listen to someone's music. He said it was not 10 PM. But I am an early bird and left San Diego at 4'AM to beat the heat and traffic. I said maybe he would like to talk to a ranger. He turned it very low and left early.

Great campground. Very peaceful. A lot more trees than the pictures show and a beautiful creek running along the length of the campground that you can fish in (there a quite a few trout!!). We very much enjoyed our time here and are eagerly looking forward to coming back soon.

Our site #22 was in a nice "secluded" area, you can hear the creek sounds and a short walk to the restroom but a bit dusty ground. The camp manager, David Mac was very friendly and can be seen around the campsites often. My husband and I realize we do not like dry camping (this campground has vault toilet only and no shower--you have to drive about 10' due to constructions to a paid shower at another campground). The vault toilet is VERY clean and NO smell at all amazing! Thanks to David Mac who kept the camp really clean. It is very conveniently located, short drive to Bishop and mammoth Lakes. Beautiful area overall!

This was our first time camping here. We had 3 sites for our group of 12. Our host was very welcoming and informative. The sites were lean and well maintained. The toilets were taken care of very well. The fire rings, picnic benches and bear boxes make the stay very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was my first stay at Tuff Campground and I enjoyed it very much. The campground host kept the restrooms spotless, stocked, and even added air fresheners in each of them. Water is conveniently located in each loop allowing for easy RV fill up when you arrive, or for carry container fill up. Cellular service is excellent with a cell tower serving all three carriers located nearby. There are walking trails along Rock Creek allowing for access for stream fishing. It appears that CA Fish and Game stock Rock Creek since fishing was excellent. Please note that it can get dusty at times. I would recommend this campground as an alternative to the busier campgrounds in the Mammoth Lakes area.

Beautiful campground close but out of sight from the 395. Stocked creek running through the facility with easy paths to prime fishing spots! Rock Creek (upper ) trail heads , pack station , OHV, Crowley lake , And numerous geological attractions surround Tuff. Maria (camp host) was friendly and professional without getting in the way of your enjoymentshes a treasure in herself. Will be coming back

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
