We were in Site 5, right next to toilets - which was not an issue as there was no annoying light, and even though campground was full, not many people using it. Does get windy and cold, even in July! Flattest part to put the tent was right next to bear box - which makes no sense, so we put it away from that area. Easy walk down to the lake, with beautiful view.

Lovely site with good shade and friendly host. I highly recommend the walk through beautiful woods to visit nearby (less than a mile) Horseshoe Lake for swimming!

This was a wonderful campsite. The host was excellent and visible. The bathrooms were always clean. Our campsite was large and close to the lake.

We parked our car and didnt move it again until we left! We got around by bikes or trolly. We originally booked 5 which practically had the bathroom in the site. And zero shade at noon. But great afternoon shade. We ended up in 6 which had shade over the table at noon but afternoon naps were tricky for our littles. One napped in the truck bed which had great shade and the other in the tent the first day when the wind kept it cool enough. The second day he napped in the hammock with me because the tent was too hot. Would stay again, but would look at other sites farther away from the road, lots of non-campground visitors stopping to use the restroom.

Very noisy campground. Trailer size is not enforced. People with large trailers and trucks blocking the road to make parking in your own campsite very difficult. No camp host for a couple of days, which meant people were loud and using profanity around young children. Not a very peaceful trip to the outdoors. The firewood purchased at the camp host was damp and would not stay lit.

Lots of bugs

Campsite 26 is jammed in between two other sites. Our campfire was no more than 15ft from the tent in the site next to us.

Campsites are very cramped but there is lots of nearby shoreline to fish and relax at. Tent campers seem to have to walk a ways to shared restrooms.ZERO cell service from Verizon!

Beautiful spot for sure, but it's hard to camp in 35 mph with 50 mph gusts, just seems to take a bit of something away, especially since I couldn't put my canoe in the water. Overall, it was still nice to get out of so cal.

The site had flush toilets and new camp tables. The host was very helpful and familiar with the area. We had a fun time camping next to so many lakes!

The only reason Im not giving it 1 star (or negative if I could) is because the camp hosts were great. This campground is overcrowded with sites on top of each other. Waste of time and money. And then you get all these people who like to leave food out all day and dont practice bear safety. Fishing was even subpar. Lots of random people walking through the sites along the water as well. This isnt even including the fact you have to book at least 6 months in advance. Crazy. Wont be coming back here.

Campground is very clean, the bathrooms are super clean. The hosts are fantastic. Our only complaint is there are no showers at a Lake Mary you have to drive down to Twin Lakes General store and the cost is $8 a shower.

Amazing Host, dedicated and kind. Bathrooms were very clean and organized.Camping there was a great experience. Wished it had showers and electricity as well as a place to wash dishes. But overall the sites are great and the lake is perfect.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
