Crowds, Smokey from campfires, tight parking, great location though.

Really nice campground located perfectly in the centre of the park. Facilities were clean and staff were friendly. The spots are well placed and most you are able to get some semblance of privacy. Some beautiful views walking through the grounds.

I had a very good site near the restrooms. They were clean and well stocked with a toilet paper. Host was friendly and helpful. I really liked the fact that restroom had an electrical outlet which in most campgrounds in California are lacking.

We pulled in late but before dark. We did appreciate the campground host checking in with us to make sure we understood the rules for keeping our camp correctly to avoid bear encounters. We had a large site with a beautiful view.

Jenny Lake Campground was absolutely magical. Although I only had 2 nights there, it was just incredible. A small campground that has been voted The Best Campground in America, from what I understand... And for good reason. Access to one of the Grand Teton National Park's premiere overlooks, as well as easy access to the Loop Trail, taking you over to Hidden Falls and Cascade Canyon for phenomenal hikes and outstanding views of the falls, and the Teton Range. The staff at Jenny Lake were so incredible too... I had some amazing conversations with the Rangers, and got some great intel on my backcountry hikes, just days before heading out into Garnet Canyon and Surprise/Amphitheater Lakes... Such good people, and amazing in terms of advice and help.

This area is breathtaking! I was treated like family by the camp hosts. Take the ferry across Jenny Lake, its the best way to see some of the beauty close up. Do not miss an opportunity to camp here. Be prepared for lots of traffic, youll have the advantage by staying here.

Best ever tent campground in Tetons is always full. Terrific bathroom is old but kept spotless by campground hosts who circulate regularly.

We loved our campground so much. We had site 19. It wasnt as big as some others, but it was just me and my husband and it was more than enough room for us. I was surprised to find out that the campground is separate from the rest of Jenny lake (still right by the lake). I was worried the foot traffic of day hikers would disturb us at the campground but it was in a different area and quiet. Bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. We also had access to water which was nice for putting out fires, filling up water bottles etc.

We stayed at Jenny Lake Campground for 2 nights in early September. Had to move campsites but it ended up being worth the small hassle since we had guaranteed parking at our campsite. We were surprised at how busy Jenny Lake was in September. Nice sites. Small campground. Restrooms were okay, but only had a couple of showers ($5 for 9 mins)Definitely would stay here again for the overall convince and access to the Jenny Lake area

Joe, the camp host was amazing and saved the day for us. It was late and we arrived by motorcycles without a reservation, we were desperate as it was getting dark and cooling off. He was so very kind, he gave us a site that the camp host holds since the campground was full, with no sites available. The campground was clean and quiet other than a few bear whistles lol. We were so appreciative of his kindness in being so accommodating.

Directly at the foot of Cascade Canyon, this campground is only for tents. Wonderful caring hosts. Short walk to Jenny Lake Visitor Center which is always packed.

Love Jenny Lake! Campsite 30 is decently shaded and close access to water. Only thing that would be better is is they would put in another bathroom/shower at end of loop.
@JohnB8383631 · Camped on Aug 28, 2025
Beautiful location. Surprisingly quiet considering the hustle and bustle of the nearby Jenny Lake visitors center, just be ready to wake up early as people will get ready to take the first ( cheaper) ferry across the lake in the morning.
@CynthiaM916014 · Camped on Aug 27, 2025
The host/hostess were outstanding

Site was okay, but the campground was great. Nearby to the Jenny Lake store and visitor center, so you can easily get snacks (very important breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon buns ;]) and wood. Quite a walk to the bathroom, which wasn't great in terms of cleanliness but wasn't too bad either. Site was very open to 2-3 neighbors, but we didn't find that to be too much of an issue. Bear box is great (opens and closes well, clean inside).

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
