The campground is fantastic, though the bathroom facilities are quite "rustic." Make sure you know the location of it before booking if easy access is important to you. There are definitely bears about, though we never saw one only heard from rangers that there are particular ones that came by regularly.

They have the best hosts Ive ever seen at a campground! Super kind, educational which is perfect for some people who might not know as much as they think they do about bear country. Only downsides is bathroom sink water was freezing, restrooms and showers were a pretty far walk for most campgrounds and washing your dishes was challenging with their rules and accommodations available.

Bathrooms way too far away from campsites.Showers need shelves and more places to put towels and toiletries,Need better pathway to showers and place closer to campsitesShouldnt have to trek to bathroom to dump dishwashing water

We had a great experience at Jenny Lake. It rained pretty hard for a good portion of the time we were there, but that meant less people in our way. The campground was well taken care of and the hosts were friendly.
We had to chase a fox out of our campsite, and we saw it bothering other campers as well, but the campground is just as much the wildlife's home as ours.
We hiked cascade canyon trail which Jenny lake was a perfect starting place for. Beautiful hike, well worth it, and we saw 2 bull moose grazing nearby the trail both on our way up and back down. We also saw a cow moose grazing in moose pond on our way back down.
We could hardly see the mountain range with the low clouds so we will for sure come back to Jenny lake, but it was a beautiful experience regardless.

Great tent campground! Bathroom was clean. Close proximity to the lake, but not on the lake.

Bathrooms are far, host is creepy. Saw some fires that were way too big and tons of people driving way too fast but no one did anything about it. Overall weird experience.

Joe was an Outstanding host and did an excellent job of managing the campground.

The campground was great, it was nice it was blocked off to the public telling them to reserve online. I was sad to hear bears had been put down recently due to people leaving out food. We ended up camping in a thunderstorm—got over an inch of rain in one night! But the ground in our camp drained fairly quickly and the tent pads are raised. If you’re going to take the shuttle or do other things at Jenny lake, don’t save it for the last day and I’d recommend just walking from your camp. On our last day we left early to watch the sunrise and see some of the park. When we got back we parked at the Jenny lake visitor center but it filled up so quickly that we didn’t want to move our car and we had to check out of our site soon, but wanted to take the shuttle across the lake and do some hiking. So we ended up walking to camp, breaking down and carrying all of our stuff out to the car on the far end of the visitor center parking lot. It was a pain but worth it, parking is ridiculous! It may have just been because it was a Sunday and the weather was clear. Beautiful besides the crowds.

The camp hosts were great. Site itself was a short walk from the beautiful Jenny lake.

I stayed here before a backcountry trip to String/Leigh Lake. Great to have a place close to the String Lake parking lot.

Site itself was ok. Took a dodge caravan into site. Not sure my large truck could have fit. Website lists 14’ as maximum length.
