Hosts Rick & Vera go above to make this place inviting. Checked on us, gave local recommendations and generally just around the campground to chat. The latrines are thr cleanest latrines we have ever visited. They are the definition of what a great campground host should be. Thank you!

Positives: Overall we had a great time at this campground. The scenery is beautiful & peaceful. The campground is quiet. Camp hosts were very nice & helpful. The bathrooms are clean. We hiked the Union Canyon Trail that departs from the campground and it was a great hike that followed the creek, awesome scenery & rock formations.Negatives: We were tent camping and this is more of an RV campground. The camp hosts asked us to pitch our tents on the driveway. There was a big rainstorm and water starting flowing through our tent because of the location the driveway. We ended up moving our tent and drying things up.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lottis Creek. The vault toilet bathroom was well maintained and clean throughout our entire stay. The host did a great job maintaining the grounds as well.We had sites 5 and 7 reserved on the Baldy loop. Nice proximity to the bathroom and private. There isn't a bad site on the Baldy Loop.

The campground itself was fine. However, when I made my reservation it didn't accept our national parks pass but when we arrived it clearly indicated there was a discount for our pass. We ended up paying double for the same spot

Lottie creek campground is our favorite campground on the Taylor river.Only thing is there are HUGE potholes in the road at the campground. They have been there now for 2 years and are getting bigger.

WE stayed in site 2, Baldy Loop of Lottis Creek campground the first week of July. Had a large private pull through site. We had our fifth wheel and a tent. Beautiful setting. Friendly camp host. Very clean bathrooms. A lovely creek for fishing and saw a large buck nightly along the creek. Very quiet too. Can't wait to go back

Lack of showers was a big drawback unless you had something other than a pop up or tent

I love this campground! This is our second year staying there. It is quiet, and peaceful. There are hiking trails within walking distance, and more a short drive away. Last year we rented an ATV at Tin Cup, and had a blast. ATVs are available in several places nearby. It is an hour from Crested Butte, and about two hours from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, which was amazing, and well worth the drive!

This was our first RV trip and we were lucky in selecting Lottis Creek Pine Cone campsite. Ricky and Vera Jones (camp host) greeted us with open arms and local information. They were extremely helpful in getting our RV set up with water and explained where to dump. We became fast friends and they introduced us to regulars, even hosted a breakfast and allowed us to tag along to church with them. We just adore these two and are very thankful we met them. We all prayed together before we left and hugged promising to keep in touch. They keep the sites clean and are friendly to all that pass through. We highly recommend this campground.

The campsite was well-maintained, but the rule regarding the number of "camping units" seems unreasonable. Instead of limiting the number of units, the Forest Service should consider restricting the number of guests per site. We had only 4 people with a small 2-person tent and a 19-ft, 2-person trailer, yet we were told we exceeded the limit. Meanwhile, others with much larger RVs and more than 6 people were within the rules simply because they had only one RV.

Great campground and the host does a great job cleaning the toilets. The only problem is the campground driveway has several bad holes that can and will damage your vehicle or rv. The host said it has been reported to the area manager but nothing has been done. When the holes are filled with water you have no idea how deep they are and they are only going to get worse.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
