Rosy Lane Campground is located in the Gunnison Ranger District, Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests (3 hrs 46 min east of Grand Junction, CO) with an elevation of 8,472 feet. There are a total of 15 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid June to the end of September. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 25 and 50 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $28.00 to $58.00. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, hiking trails, floating sports.

Campground location was nice and the sites are far apart and large. Camp was a bit noisy as it is really close to the road. Camp host was unfriendly and did not keep the bathrooms clean while we were there. The host allowed her dogs to roam off leash. Compared to other campground we have stayed at this year this was a badly managed campground by the host.

Our most favorite campground in Colorado. Incredible views and only 20 or so minutes from Crested Butte.

We are repeat customers and have really enjoyed this campground. It's generally quiet and attracts a loyal following. It's river location is a delight though rain storms can cause serious erosion on the hillslopes and bare ground, and we've ended up with mud enveloping our tents. During our last visit we ran into an unexpected problem. We were two campsites over from the campground host's site (to the left). On prior visits we were in low-numbered sites to the right. Unfortunately, the host has bright blue led lights outside their trailer that are very disruptive at night. One, blue light kills the ability of your eyes to adjust to darkness and one reason we are there camping is to see the stars. Two, the lights were shining right into our tents. We need to pull out our eyeshades at 10 pm to go to sleep! On our second day we addressed these issues with the campground host and were pretty much told to bug off. This experience definitely reduced our enthusiasm for Rosy Lane.

Rosy Lane is a lovely little campground. The sound of the river covers up any road noise. Site #4 was perfect for us although it has little shade if that's a concern. Tracy the campground host was great and kept everything super clean and nice.

The setting is beautiful with the sound of the river at any site. Love that you can walk along a path near the river where a few spots are available to sit. The host Stacey and her husband were very responsive to our desires, informative and accommodating.

Clean, well maintained campground with sites that are far enough apart to provide some privacy. Nice trail along the Taylor River. Very nice camp host. I wish all forest service campgrounds were this nice!

Gorgeous campsites right along the Taylor River, surrounded by beautiful tall canyon walls. Expect to see some cows grazing on and along nearby roads, might slow down your commute, but itll be the cutest traffic delay youve ever seen!

Campground is in a nice location between Taylor Reservoir and Crested Butte. Bathrooms were very clean and hosts were friendly. Site 2 is VERY close to the road, but I knew that when I booked so its not a complaint, just an FYI to future campers. Verizon coverage was not very good, I was able to make calls/texts but no data.
